Two-stage oil-injected screw compressors for pressures up to 20 bar
The Atlas Copco GR 110-200 (FF) is a two-stage, oil-injected rotary screw compressor series for high-pressure air up to 20 bar(e) / 290 psig, and the manufacturer notes that it is often used as a mine compressor. Two-stage compression reduces the load on bearings, rotors and gears at high pressure, which Atlas Copco links to higher efficiency, longer element life and reliable operation in hot and dusty conditions. The FF (full feature) version adds an integrated refrigerant dryer with a pressure dew point of 3 to 4 °C at reference conditions and a standard moisture separator, and every unit is controlled by the Elektronikon MK5 controller with a high-resolution colour display.

Scope of supply and options
The scope of supply lists the air intake filter and valve, aftercooler and oil cooler, cooling or ventilation fan, oil filters, the complete air/oil circuit, the air/oil separator, built-in electrical starter, silencing canopy, ISO or NPT connections, anchor pads and a performance test certificate. Options include modulating control, a heavy-duty air intake filter, an integrated water separator, a phase sequence relay, an anti-condensation heater for the main motor, a witness performance test, material test certificates, SPM monitoring, a Smartbox and seaworthy packing.
Selecting a GR and what to confirm
Pick the GR when the process needs a clean oil-injected supply above the usual 7 to 13 bar band and a booster is not wanted. Choose between the two sizes by delivery at working pressure, and between pack and full-feature versions by whether the dew point from the integrated dryer is adequate. Confirm supply frequency, because the 50 Hz and 60 Hz delivery and noise figures differ, and confirm the ambient and dust conditions.
