BEKO BEKOMAT 13 Electronic Condensate Drain

Description

An electronic-level condensate drain with no compressed air loss

The BEKOMAT 13 is a BEKO TECHNOLOGIES electronic condensate drain for compressed air systems. A capacitive sensor measures the condensate level in a collecting container and opens a diaphragm valve only when there is liquid to discharge, so the drain is described as minimising compressed air loss, energy consumption and cost. BEKO states that large valve diameters prevent emulsion formation, that the unit is resistant to dirt and has no delicate mechanical components, and that the BEKOMAT is the first condensate drain with electronic level control. The 13 sits in the standard range of models 12, 13, 14, 16 and 20 and is rated up to 30 m3/min compressor performance.

Choosing among BEKOMAT standard models

The model number follows the system size. Select the drain from the maximum compressor performance, and check dryer and filter performance if the drain is fitted there. The CO suffix marks hard-coated aluminium housings that BEKO lists for oil-free condensate, and the PN suffix is the pressure rating of the high-pressure variants. BEKO says the sensor-based design makes them ready for integration into modern system monitoring installations.

Model Compressor / dryer / filter Condensate inlet Discharge capacity at 7 bar g
BEKOMAT 12 6.5 / 13 / 65 m3/min 1 x G 1/2 1.43 l/h
BEKOMAT 13 30 / 60 / 300 m3/min 2 x G 1/2 7.61 l/h
BEKOMAT 14 130 / 260 / 1300 m3/min 3 x G 3/4 33.33 l/h
BEKOMAT 16 CO 1400 / 2800 m3/min (compressor / dryer) 2 x G 3/4 and 1 x G 1 274 l/h
BEKOMAT 20 4 / 8 / 40 m3/min 1 x G 3/4 (outside) to G 1/2 1.03 l/h

Ordering notes and documents

Send the compressor or dryer size, operating pressure, condensate type (oil-contaminated or oil-free) and the connection you need, and the correct BEKOMAT 13 variant can be identified. BEKO’s separate range for condensate treatment, the OEWAMAT oil-water separator and BEKOSPLIT emulsion splitting systems, is covered in the same brochure. The attached 16-page BEKO condensate technology brochure describes the BEKOMAT family; the model data above comes from BEKO’s published technical data table, so confirm the exact variant against current BEKO documents before ordering. For related compressed air equipment see the compressor and air treatment category and the BEKO METPOINT DPM dew point measuring unit.

About brand

BEKO Technologies, founded in 1982 and based in Neuss, Germany, works on one subject: compressed air quality. Its condensate drains, dryers, filters and METPOINT measuring instruments are found in compressor rooms across industry. Seven Star LLC lists the METPOINT DPM SD23 dew point transmitter packaged with the METPOINT BDL compact data logger, reference 4031322, and supplies BEKO Technologies equipment in Oman and the GCC.

BEKO Technologies METPOINT instruments

METPOINT is the name of BEKO Technologies' measurement line. The METPOINT DPM is the dew point transmitter, fitted after a dryer to show the moisture left in the air. The METPOINT BDL compact is a small data logger with a display that records and shows the readings from connected sensors. The listed set combines one of each.

Where METPOINT instruments are used

Instrument air systems, breathing and process air lines, and any plant that has to document its compressed air quality.
