Rigol MSO5354 350 MHz 4+16 Channel Mixed Signal Oscilloscope
Description
The top MSO5000 model: 350 MHz and 8 GSa/s in one instrument
The Rigol MSO5354 is the 350 MHz, four-analog-channel flagship of the MSO5000 series, built on RIGOL UltraVision II technology. It samples at up to 8 GSa/s, stores 100 Mpts as standard (200 Mpts with the MSO5000-2RL option), captures more than 500,000 waveforms per second and has 16 digital channels for mixed-signal work once the PLA2216 logic probe is attached.
RIGOL describes it as seven instruments in one: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, arbitrary waveform generator (option), digital voltmeter, frequency counter/totalizer and protocol analyzer. More instruments are listed under Portable Test & Measurement.
Features the datasheet highlights
- 23 times sample-rate-to-bandwidth ratio at 350 MHz, with 500 ps glitch capture.
- Touch-based zone trigger plus 12 standard trigger types and optional serial triggers.
- Hardware recording of up to 450,000 frames; 41 automatic measurements with full-memory hardware mode.
- Optional dual-channel 25 MHz AWG, power analysis (UPA) and Bode plot.

MSO5000 models and upgrades
The datasheet lists six codes: MSO5072 and MSO5074 (70 MHz), MSO5102 and MSO5104 (100 MHz), MSO5204 (200 MHz) and MSO5354 (350 MHz). Bandwidth upgrade options run from MSO5000-BW0T1 to MSO5000-BW2T3, and MSO5000-BND bundles the serial, AWG and power-analysis options. Two-channel models can be upgraded to four with MSO5000-4CH.
Operation notes
All guaranteed specifications need 30 minutes of warm-up inside the operating temperature. The scope can be driven from a browser through its VNC web interface. Digital threshold levels are set in groups of eight channels (D0 to D7, D8 to D15), and four decoders can run at once.
Typical regional uses
With mixed-signal capture, protocol decode and power analysis, it suits R&D and calibration labs, automotive and industrial controller development, and drive or power-electronics testing. The unit is rated CAT I and 0 to 50 degC, so keep it in an air-conditioned lab or cabin.
Accessories
Four PVP2350 350 MHz probes, a USB cable and a power cord are standard. Optional: PLA2216 logic probe, MSO5000-FPC front cover, MSO5000-RM rack kit, USB-GPIB, NFP-3 near-field probe and RPA246 power-analysis jig.
Selection and installation notes
Test and measurement instruments are selected from the accuracy, the range and the interfaces the work needs. Allow the warm-up time, use probes and leads rated for the voltage and category of the circuit, keep the inputs inside the stated limits and keep the calibration current according to your quality system. Record the settings used for any test that must be repeated later.
Information needed for a quotation
Send the full model code, the quantity, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC, the intended use and any accessories needed, so that the complete package can be quoted together.
Documents and supply information
The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification and the site risk assessment before a purchase is confirmed. Ratings, standards and dimensions are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and building services projects.
