MP Filtri LMP 210-211 Low Pressure In-Line Filter

Description

A low pressure in-line filter for transmission and coolant lines

The MP Filtri LMP 210-211 is a range of low pressure in-line filters for transmission and protection of sensitive components in low pressure hydraulic systems, and for filtering coolant in machine tools. It also works for off-line filtration of small reservoirs. MP Filtri gives a maximum working pressure of 6 MPa (60 bar) and a flow rate up to 365 l/min. LMP210 has flanged connections up to 1 1/2 inch, and LMP211 has female threaded connections up to 1 1/2 inch.

The housing has an aluminium head and a cataphoretic painted steel bowl, which makes it a robust, low-cost choice for delivery lines in industrial equipment and mobile machines.

Water removal and element choice

For machines that run with water in the oil, MP Filtri offers a water absorber element (WA025) that removes free water from the hydraulic fluid; the datasheet points to its contamination management document for details. For a normal particle duty, choose the media from the cleanliness class your components need: microfiber gives the finest ratings (3 to 25 micron), wire mesh is cleanable, and paper is the economical option.

The LMP is supplied for vertical mounting. It is meant for delivery lines rather than return lines; for a return line see the MPFX or MPLX series, and for suction protection see the SFEX or MPS.

Mount the filter vertically with the bowl downward and leave enough clearance beneath it to withdraw the element. The flanged LMP210 suits pipework that is already flanged, while the LMP211 threads directly into the line. A differential clogging indicator shows when the element needs changing, and an electrical or electronic indicator can signal the machine control. Before opening the bowl, isolate and depressurize the line, drain the oil and inspect the seal before refitting; replace any damaged seal.

What to confirm before ordering

State the flow, pressure, fluid and viscosity, media and rating, port style (flanged LMP210 or threaded LMP211), length, bypass setting, seal material and the indicator. More housings are listed under filter housings.

About brand

MP Filtri is a family-owned Italian company, founded in 1964 and headquartered in Pessano con Bornago, in the Milan area, that designs hydraulic filters, contamination monitoring systems and power transmission components. Its filters protect pumps, valves and reservoirs in industrial and mobile hydraulic systems.

MP Filtri filter ranges

The catalogue covers high pressure in-line filters, low and medium pressure filters, return and suction filters, spin-on filters, stainless steel and ATEX versions, and high capacity duplex filters. Many housings use the MYclean element interface, which only accepts matching original elements, and clogging indicators, water-removal elements and tank accessories complete the range. Typical duties are pump protection, reservoir return lines, lubrication skids and off-line cleaning of large oil volumes.

Supply from Seven Star LLC

Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, sources MP Filtri housings and elements against the catalogue ordering code and provides the manufacturer documentation with each quotation. Send the model, media, micron rating, connection and indicator.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between LMP210 and LMP211?
LMP210 is the flanged version and LMP211 the female threaded version; both go up to 1 1/2 inch and 365 l/min.
