Choose the rating from the cleanliness class your most sensitive component needs. MP Filtri offers inorganic microfiber elements from 3 to 25 micron, plus wire mesh and paper media, and the catalogue ordering tables show which ratings suit each housing.
What does the X in MPFX, MPLX and MLDX mean?
It refers to the MYclean concept, in which the element has a polygon geometry and a specific seal so only matching original elements fit the housing.
What is the bypass valve in a hydraulic filter?
It opens when the pressure drop across a clogged element becomes too high, so flow continues. Opening pressures differ by series, for example 6 bar on FMP, 3.5 bar on LMP 210-211 and 0.3 bar on suction filters.
How do I know when to change an element?
Fit a clogging indicator, visual, electrical or electronic, and replace the element when it signals, or at the interval in your maintenance plan. Suction filters use vacuum gauges.
