HYTORC LITHIUM SERIES II Cordless Electric Torque Tool

Description

The HYTORC LITHIUM SERIES II (LST) is the manufacturer most advanced cordless electric torque tool, delivering up to 8,000 ft-lbs (10847 Nm) from a handheld unit powered by a 36 V battery. It targets heavy-duty bolting jobs where hydraulic pumps and hoses are inconvenient: elevated platforms, remote sites, tower and wind work, and shutdown tasks with many bolts spread over a large area. Seven Star LLC can quote the seven standard LST sizes.

Rundown mode, torque mode and data capture

The LST has two operating modes. In Rundown mode the nut is quickly brought to snug without a second tool, and in Torque mode the tool delivers the final torque to specification. The sales sheet lists the snug range for each size next to the torque range. Real-time documentation is available through the HYTORC Connect App on Bluetooth-equipped models or by USB, which currently supports only Windows, and the tool supports torque and angle operation, multiple user levels and firmware updates. An integrated work light illuminates the joint, and the nickel-plated aluminum housing is described as industrial grade.

Selecting an LST size

Choose the drive size and the model by the final torque, keeping the target inside the middle of the range, and check the dimensions against the access around the joint: the tool is longer than a hydraulic wrench and needs a reaction arm or washer reaction. The tool works with the HYTORC Washer, the HYTORC Nut and conventional reaction arms. Battery life depends on torque, bolt count and temperature, so plan spare packs on long jobs. Lithium-ion batteries have transport and storage rules, and the manufacturer publishes a battery safety sheet that should be read before use. Electric torque tools do not replace a calibration program: keep the calibration certificate and re-verify at the interval required by your quality plan.

How the HYTORC LST works

A battery powers an electric motor and a gear train. The tool turns a square drive that carries a socket onto the nut. A reaction arm presses on a nearby fixed point, so the user does not feel the torque. In Rundown mode the tool runs the nut down to snug at higher speed. In Torque mode it slows down and applies the final torque to the setting. The LST therefore needs no pump and no hoses.

Where the LST is used

  • Elevated platforms
  • Remote sites
  • Tower and wind work
  • Plant shutdowns with many bolts
  • Flange and structural bolting

Selection checklist for the LST

  • Model: LST-0250 to LST-8000
  • Torque range for the bolts
  • Square drive size
  • Snug range for rundown
  • Weight with battery
  • Bluetooth model for data capture
  • Socket and reaction arm
  • Calibration needs

Installation, commissioning and maintenance notes for the LST

Charge both batteries before the job. Fit the socket and the reaction arm for the bolt layout. Set the torque and check the setting against the bolt table. Keep hands clear of the reaction point. Store the tool in its case, and send it for calibration at the planned interval.

Requesting a quotation for the HYTORC LST

Please send the model, the bolt sizes, the torque and the quantity. Seven Star LLC serves industrial customers in Oman and the GCC and replies with a quotation based on the information provided.

About brand

HYTORC is a US industrial bolting specialist known for hydraulic torque wrenches, electric and pneumatic torque tools, pumps and the reaction-washer and nut systems that go with them. The company has focused on controlled bolted joints since 1968, and its tools are used for flange make-up, structural steel, wind and power plant maintenance.

Torque tools for controlled bolting

The catalogue covers low-clearance and square-drive hydraulic wrenches, cordless electric torque tools, pneumatic multipliers and hydraulic pumps. Many tools accept the company reaction washer or nut, so the tool can push against the fastener itself instead of an adjacent object.

Specifying bolting equipment

Choose a tool by bolt size, required torque range, access clearance and the power source available on site. Each model page lists the published torque ranges and links to the manufacturer cut sheet where one exists. Seven Star LLC supplies HYTORC equipment against a stated torque range, drive size and power supply, and quotes after the bolting requirement is confirmed.

HYTORC publishes torque charts, manuals and cut sheets for each tool family, so the joint calculation can be checked against the manufacturer data before an order is placed.
