Installation and operation notes

Check that the floor is flat and free of ramps steeper than the castors can handle before weighing, because the system measures through the forks. Switch on, wait for the 10 min warm-up if accuracy matters, and zero the truck with the forks unloaded. Adjust with 1500 kg (M2) of external weight when a documented check is needed. Because the display is not backlit, ensure there is enough light at the point of reading. The datasheet range of -10 to 40 degrees C and up to 95 % humidity applies; this is a general precaution, not a KERN statement, but storage in direct summer sun on a quayside will exceed the 40 degrees C limit.

For accurate results, weigh on a flat, level floor with the forks fully raised as described in the manual, and avoid weighing while the truck is moving.
