Brand:

Atos DHZO-TEB Proportional Directional Valve, LVDT

Description

A direct proportional valve for fast closed-loop motion

The Atos DHZO-TEB is a digital, direct-operated proportional directional valve made for high-speed closed-loop control. A built-in LVDT position transducer reads the spool, and positive spool overlap gives good dynamics in directional control and in uncompensated flow regulation. The datasheet covers two sizes: DHZO (size 06, up to 80 l/min) and DKZOR (size 10, up to 180 l/min), each as a 4/2 or 4/3 way valve.

TEB is the basic execution, with an analog reference or IO-Link for digital reference, settings and diagnostics. TES is the full execution, adding fieldbus and optional alternated pressure/flow (p/Q) control. A Bluetooth and USB service port is always present.

Which spool and flow to pick

Nominal flows are given at a 10, 30 and 70 bar drop from P to T, so pick the spool from the flow needed at the pressure drop your circuit can spare. Spools L1 to L5, S and D types differ in flow and in how the A and B paths relate; for D-type spools the P-B flow is 50 percent of the P-A flow. The model code DHZO-TES-SN-NP-071-L5 reads as valve type, driver, alternated control, fieldbus, size, configuration and spool.

Smart Tuning offers dynamic, balanced and smooth settings, so response and sensitivity can be matched to the axis. The free Atos CONNECT app and E-SW-SETUP software handle commissioning and show an internal oscilloscope.

What to confirm before ordering

Name the size, driver (TEB or TES), fieldbus, spool and configuration, the p/Q and safety options if used, and the seal material. Wire and commission to the Atos installation tables. For a larger piloted valve in the same family see the Atos DPZO-LEB, and for pilot-operated alternatives from another maker see the Bosch Rexroth 4WEH. All are under hydraulic valves and components.

How the Atos DHZO-TEB works

The on-board driver reads the reference signal and compares it with the spool position from the LVDT. It drives the solenoid until the spool is where the reference says. This closed loop gives a fast response and low hysteresis. The valve is set up through the service port or through IO-Link.

Where the DHZO-TEB is used

  • Injection moulding machines
  • Presses
  • Closed-loop position control of cylinders
  • Fast directional control
  • Uncompensated flow regulation

Selection checklist for the DHZO-TEB

  • Size 06 (DHZO) or size 10 (DKZOR)
  • 4/2 or 4/3 way
  • Spool type and nominal flow
  • Pressure limits of the circuit
  • Analog or IO-Link reference
  • 24 V DC supply
  • Connectors and cables
  • Basic TEB or full TES execution

Installation, commissioning and maintenance notes for the DHZO-TEB

Mount the valve on a flat ISO 4401 subplate with clean seals. Tighten the screws evenly. Wire the 24 V supply, the enable and the reference. Bleed the system and set the valve with the service software. Keep the oil clean.

About brand

Atos is an Italian manufacturer of electrohydraulic components, founded in 1957 and headquartered in Sesto Calende. Its catalogue spans on-off and proportional valves, digital electronics, cylinders and pumps for industrial hydraulics, from compact size 06 solenoid valves to large piloted proportional valves.

Atos valves and electronics

The range includes directional, pressure, flow and check valves, modular valves, ISO cartridges and proportional valves with on-board digital drivers, IO-Link and fieldbus interfaces, Bluetooth set-up and closed-loop control. Each valve family is documented in a numbered technical table, with the model code, hydraulic data, electrical data, dimensions and the options that can be added, such as low-temperature seals, manual overrides or lockable adjustment knobs.
