Overview

The AccuChrome™ GC is Galvanic Applied Sciences’ third-generation Btu and hydrocarbon gas chromatograph, designed and built for critical process-monitoring and control applications in the harshest environments. Measurement Principle

The AccuChrome™ GC consists of two compartments: an upper chromatograph oven housing the components involved in the chromatographic analysis process, including the 10-port valve (and 6-port valve in High Speed Heating Value Analysis configurations), the chromatograph column(s), and the thermal conductivity detector (TCD); and a lower compartment housing the AccuChrome electronics. A heater maintains a constant temperature within the oven, which is critical for proper separation of the sample components as they pass through the micro-packed columns, manufactured by Galvanic to ensure quality and consistency.

The chromatograph uses industry-leading valves rated for up to 1 million injections, with a simple mechanical design that makes servicing straightforward and inexpensive. With auto calibration and validation capabilities enabling fully hands-off operation, and a design that provides ready access to all field-serviceable components, the AccuChrome™ delivers consistent, field-proven performance while reducing downtime and the need for costly module replacement.
