Description
TerraMAX TC series motors for zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 duty
The CEMP TerraMAX TC series motors are IE3 and IE4 efficiency, totally enclosed fan cooled motors built on the TerraMAX platform and manufactured at the CEMP plant in Senago, Milan. The TCI cast iron version is for general industry, and the TCN, TCT, TCT3, TCNT and TCE versions carry ATEX and IECEx markings for non-sparking, dust and increased safety duty. Frames run from IEC 80 to 355 and power from 0.75 to 375 kW (1 to 500 HP).

The brochure gives full tables for 2, 4, 6 and 8 poles at 400 V, including torque, locked rotor ratios, noise level and moment of inertia.
Choose the series by the zone and gas or dust group: TCE for zone 1 gas with increased safety, TCN for zone 2, TCT for zone 21 dust and TCT3 for zone 22. Options listed include special voltages up to 1,000 V, Pt-100 and PTC sensors, anti-condensation heaters, tropicalized windings, forced ventilation IC416, encoders, SPM probe, double ended shafts, rain cap and vibration grade A or B. Confirm that the certificate covers the exact frame, voltage and temperature class ordered.

About brand
CEMP is an Italian manufacturer of flameproof and hazardous-area electric motors, founded in 1954 and based in Senago, Milan. One of the first companies in Italy to build explosion-proof motors, it has been part of the WEG group since 2024. Seven Star LLC supplies these motors in Oman on inquiry.
