Brand: Rigol
Rigol DHO814 100 MHz 4-Channel 12-bit Digital Oscilloscope
Description
A low-noise 12-bit scope in a compact touch-screen body
The Rigol DHO814 is the 100 MHz, four-channel member of the DHO800 series. Every DHO800 model resolves 12 bits vertically, which RIGOL pairs with a low noise floor and vertical sensitivity down to 500 uV/div, so small signals sit clearly above the noise. It samples at up to 1.25 GSa/s, stores up to 25 Mpts and shows the signal on a 7 inch 1024 x 600 capacitive multi-touch screen.
It is a good fit for bench work on sensor outputs, power-supply ripple, motor-drive gate signals and low-level analog stages. See other instruments under Portable Test & Measurement.
Datasheet highlights
- 12-bit resolution on all channels, 500 uV/div to 10 V/div.

- Waveform search and navigation, histogram, 256-level digital phosphor display.
- USB Host and Device, LAN, HDMI and a USB Type-C power input; weight 1.78 kg.

DHO800 variants and options
The data sheet lists DHO802 and DHO804 (70 MHz, two and four channel) and DHO812 and DHO814 (100 MHz, two and four channel). Two-channel models add an external trigger input; the four-channel models add SPI chip-select support. Options are ordered by instrument serial number and installed with a license file or SCPI command.
Operation notes
Specifications hold when the oscilloscope is properly grounded and has run for 30 minutes within its temperature range. Power comes from the supplied adaptor through the Type-C connector. The Android-based interface supports gestures and a Flex Knob; the web control page shows the screen from a browser using the instrument IP address.
Typical uses in regional industry
Technicians servicing instrument loops, VFD control boards and switch-mode supplies in oil and gas, power and water facilities can use the 12-bit resolution to see ripple on supply rails. The instrument is rated 0 to 50 degC and CAT I, so it is a bench or cabin tool; for mains-referenced probing use isolated or differential probes.
Probes and accessories
Standard: four PVP3150 150 MHz passive probes, power adaptor and a banana-plug ground cable. The data sheet lists PVP2150 and PVP2350 passive probes, RP1010H, RP1018H and RP1300H high-voltage probes, PHA0150, PHA1150, PHA2150 and RP1025D/RP1050D/RP1100D differential probes, and RP1001C to RP1006C current probes with RP1000P.
Selection and installation notes
Test and measurement instruments are selected from the accuracy, the range and the interfaces the work needs. Allow the warm-up time, use probes and leads rated for the voltage and category of the circuit, keep the inputs inside the stated limits and keep the calibration current according to your quality system. Record the settings used for any test that must be repeated later.
Information needed for a quotation
Send the full model code, the quantity, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC, the intended use and any accessories needed, so that the complete package can be quoted together.
Documents and supply information
The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification and the site risk assessment before a purchase is confirmed. Ratings, standards and dimensions are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and building services projects.
