The JUMO AQUIS touch S (type 202581) is a modular multichannel measuring device for liquid analysis with an integrated controller and a paperless recorder. It displays and processes pH, redox voltage, electrolytic conductivity, resistance of high-purity water, temperature, disinfectant quantities such as free and total chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone, hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid, and flow rates, and it can manage up to 25 parameters at once.

Up to four analysis inputs can be fitted in any combination, with up to 21 further signals connected directly or by interface, and two pulse-frequency inputs (300 Hz or 10 kHz) for flow. Up to four higher-order control loops with P, PI, PD and PID algorithms run in parallel, and up to 17 switching outputs are configurable as controller, switching or alarm outputs. A 5.5 inch TFT colour touch screen shows the values and handles set-up, and the paperless recorder stores up to eight analog and six binary signals in tamper-proof memory.

Where it is used

The data sheet lists municipal and industrial water treatment, drinking and bathing water monitoring, pharmaceutical water, CIP and SIP plants in food and beverage, cooling tower control, ion exchangers, reverse osmosis, power stations, gas scrubbers, desalination and fish breeding.

Switchable conductivity ranges serve CIP and SIP duty, and the language library can hold up to 15 languages including Chinese and Cyrillic.
