Camfil 30/30 ePM10 50% Panel Prefilter 595x595x95

Description

A pleated panel prefilter with a six-month service life

The Camfil 30/30 1050 595x595x95 is a pleated panel prefilter in a rigid, water-resistant cardboard frame, ePM10 50% under ISO 16890. Camfil says it can last up to six months depending on the application and names the use as a prefilter for air conditioning systems.

The 95 mm deep version holds 2.5 m2 of synthetic media at 3,400 m3/h and 65 Pa, which makes it a typical replacement for flat panel filters in return air grilles, fan coil plenums and as a coarse stage ahead of bag filters. Its printed temperature limit of 90 degC is higher than the 70 degC of the bag filters.

Datasheet features

  • Moisture-resistant cardboard frame with a diagonal front and back lattice for extra support.
  • Radial pleats supported by a metal grid hold the pleat formation throughout the lifetime.
  • Increased media area for high dust holding capacity and prolonged lifetime; optimised energy efficiency.
  • Eurovent certified performance for sizes marked with an asterisk (595x595x95 is one).

The 95 mm version of the 595 x 595 panel has about 47 percent more media than the 46 mm panel (2.5 against 1.7 m2, derived), a lower initial resistance and a better energy class, in exchange for 49 mm of extra depth.

Efficiency detail

Camfil lists ePM1 at 3%, ePM2.5 at 14% and ePM10 at 50%, with minimum values of 3% for ePM1 and 13% for ePM2.5. This is a coarse dust filter; it is not intended to stop fine combustion particles. Use it ahead of ePM1 stages.

Choosing a panel prefilter: ordering notes

Panel sizes in the 30/30 sheet use a 595 mm module on the larger types, which is different from the 592 mm module of Camfil bag filters. Measure the existing frame opening before ordering and do not assume interchangeability with 592 mm bag filters.

For tender comparison, quote the whole type string, 1050 595x595x95, and the ISO 16890 class ePM10 50%. If the specification asks for a Eurovent certified product, note that the datasheet marks this size with an asterisk, meaning it follows the Eurovent certified performance rules.

Panel filters of this construction are meant for coarse dust. If the building has a high sand load, use the filter as the first stage and expect frequent change-outs compared with the up-to-six-month figure on the sheet.

Comparison with the Camfil bag and pocket types

At 65 Pa and 3,400 m3/h the 30/30 sits close to the Cam-Flo ES six-bag in resistance, but the efficiency is the ePM10 50% class instead of ePM1 70%, and the depth is 95 mm rather than 640 mm, a major saving where space is limited. The panel format suits filter racks and ceiling-mounted units that cannot take pockets.

Disposal is simple because the frame is cardboard, though, as with any used filter, follow site rules if it has captured hazardous dust.

Enquiry checklist

  • Quote 30/30 1050 595x595x95 and quantity per change-out.
  • Confirm the opening is 595 mm, not 592 mm.
  • State whether Eurovent certified performance is required.
  • Tell the supplier the airflow per panel: 3,400 m3/h nominal and up to 1.25 times that.

Installation

The panel uses front dimensions according to EN 15805 and front or side access frames. Because the frame is cardboard, avoid wet conditions where water would run through the frame, even though the sheet permits 100 percent relative humidity. Replace the panel when the pressure drop reaches the recommended final value of 165 Pa (derived). See other filtration elements.

Fitting and replacement notes

The panel is a throw-away unit, so it is simply removed and replaced as a whole when it has loaded. Confirm the 595 x 595 mm frame size and the 95 mm depth against the rails, note the airflow direction arrow printed on the frame and do not wash or vacuum the filter, because that damages the media. Keep spare panels on site for planned service intervals.

Information needed for a quotation

Send the full filter code, the quantity, the housing or frame type it must fit, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC and any prefilters or accessories, so that the complete filter set can be quoted together.

Documents and supply information

The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification before a purchase is confirmed. Filter class, airflow, pressure drop and dimensions are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and building services projects.

About brand

Camfil is a Swedish air filtration company that has worked on clean air since 1963 and is headquartered in Stockholm. It supplies filters and filtration systems for commercial and industrial air handling, cleanrooms, air pollution control, molecular contamination control and gas turbine and engine air intakes.

Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list Camfil filters against the exact type code on the Camfil data sheet, for HVAC contractors, facility teams and plant engineers in Oman and the GCC.

Camfil product series

Bag filters include the Cam-Flo ES ePM1 70%, the Basic-Flo ePM10 70% economy bag, the Hi-Cap CO60 coarse prefilter and the City-Flo ePM1 85% bag with activated carbon for urban air. The 30/30 panel prefilter is a pleated ePM10 50% filter for the first stage of an air handling unit.

Compact and box filters include the Opakair F8 and Airopac F7 filters, and HEPA filters include the Absolute VG H13 compact filter and the Megalam ProSafe MX14 H14 panel for cleanrooms and controlled environments. The CamClose compact coalescing pre-filter protects gas turbine and engine intakes against salt and moisture.

Where Camfil filters are used

Air handling units in offices, malls, hospitals and hotels, cleanrooms and laboratories, pharmaceutical and food plants, data centres, and gas turbine and compressor air intakes, where dust and humidity in the Gulf climate shorten filter life.

Ordering Camfil filters: what we need

Send the Camfil type code, or the filter class (ISO 16890 ePM rating or EN 1822 HEPA class), the face size and depth, the number of pockets for bag filters, the frame material, the airflow and the quantity. A photo of the label on the old filter usually gives all of this.
