Lenze E84AVSCE3024SXS 8400 StateLine C Inverter 3.0 kW
Description
8400 StateLine C drive rated 3.0 kW
Lenze E84AVSCE3024SXS is rated 7.3 A at 45 degrees C (5.5 A at 55 degrees C), which suits a four-pole motor of 3.0 kW. Supply is 3/PE AC 400 V (320 to 440 V) or 500 V (400 to 550 V). All values below were read from the Lenze 8400 hardware manual EDS84ASC552 EN 10.0, which covers the StateLine C, HighLine C and TopLine C versions up to 45 kW. Confirm that this exact C-version code can be supplied, with its hardware version, before you order.

Standards and rated conditions
The output frequency range is 0 to 1000 Hz. The enclosure is IP20 with NEMA 250 type 1 protection against accidental contact. Approvals printed in the manual are CE, EAC (TR CU 004/2011 and TR CU 020/2011), UL 508C and CSA 22.2 No. 14; the CSA approval applies only when an external mains choke is used.
Reading the type code E84AVSCE3024SXS
Position by position: E84 (8400), A (version 1), V (vector), SC (StateLine C), E (installation mounting), 302 (3.0 kW), 4 (4 = 400/500 V three-phase), S (IE33 standard environment), X (without safety system), and finally S, the Slim version with reduced device dimension.
Control functions and I/O
StateLine C offers V/f control with VFCplus characteristics, the energy-saving VFCplus eco mode and sensorless vector control, S-shaped ramps, flying restart, integrated brake management and an integrated brake chopper. Overload capacity is 200 percent for 3 s. The version has 5 digital inputs, 1 digital output, 1 analog input, 1 analog output, one relay and single- or two-track HTL encoder feedback up to 10 kHz. CANopen is on board; plug-in MCI modules add PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT, POWERLINK or INTERBUS.
Mounting and sizing
The GG 3 (slim) housing is 270 mm high and 70 mm wide. Output current is given for 2 and 4 kHz without a mains choke, with 4.9 A at 16 kHz. The internal brake chopper switches at its adjustable threshold and needs a resistor of at least 82 ohm. A mains choke reduces the mains current from 9.8 A to 7.0 A. The plug-in keypad X400 (EZAEBK1001) and the MCI fieldbus modules are separate accessories.
Environmental data: storage 1K3 from minus 25 to plus 60 degrees C, transport 2K3 from minus 25 to plus 70 degrees C and operation 3K3 from minus 10 to plus 55 degrees C. Above the stated temperatures the rated output current falls by 2.5 percent per degree, and above 1000 m altitude by 5 percent per 1000 m, up to 4000 m. Pollution degree 2 applies, and vibration resistance in operation is stated up to 0.7 g. These conditions apply to the 3.0 kW size, rated at 7.3 A.
Documentation and quote requests
The attached hardware manual from Lenze holds every rating, dimension, fuse and accessory table. See AC Drives for related inverters. Quote with the full type code, supply voltage, motor nameplate data and required fieldbus, and confirm the exact variant against the nameplate before ordering.

About brand
Lenze is the German drive and automation company for machine building: frequency inverters, servo inverters, motors and gearboxes, controllers and engineering software. Its history begins on 5 November 1947, when Hans Lenze took over Stahlkontor GmbH in Hameln from the Mannesmann group. The group is led by Lenze SE, an unlisted European company based in Aerzen near Hameln, and the Lenze family owns all of its shares.
Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list Lenze frequency and servo inverters, including current and earlier generations, for machine builders and maintenance teams in Oman and the GCC.

Lenze product series
Current inverters on this site are the i500 family: the i510 compact frequency inverter, the i550 cabinet inverter and its i550 protec decentral version for mounting on the machine, and the i950 cabinet servo inverter. Earlier generations that are still widely installed are also listed: the 8400 StateLine C inverters (E84AVSC...), the 8200 vector frequency inverters (E82EV...) and the 9300 servo position controllers and servo inverters (EVS93...), including versions with Safe Torque Off.
Where Lenze drives are used
Conveyors and intralogistics, packaging and bottling lines, pumps and fans, hoists, textile and printing machines, and positioning axes on special machines. Many plants in the region keep 8200 vector and 9300 drives in service and need exact replacements or a planned migration to the i500 series.

Ordering Lenze inverters: what we need
Send the complete type code from the nameplate, for example E84AVSCE5524SX0, together with the supply voltage, motor power and current, the control interface or fieldbus module, and any options such as safety functions, keypad or brake resistor. When replacing an installed drive, keep the parameter set and wiring records, because a new unit or a successor model must be parameterised to match the machine.
