Description
A legacy cooling energy calculator for chilled-water metering
The Kamstrup MULTICAL 602 is an energy calculator from Kamstrup’s earlier calculator generation, shown in a December 2015 brochure titled Cooling metering with ULTRAFLOW 14, 34 and 54. It is used with an ULTRAFLOW flow sensor and two temperature sensors to calculate energy and to measure flow, power and temperature in chilled-water circuits, and the brochure adds that it is also available for heat metering. Because the available document is a short brochure rather than a full data sheet, this page lists only what the manufacturer states. We list it as a legacy item for owners of installed units.

Selecting and ordering a legacy model
The brochure does not publish a type number key, approvals or dimensions, so we confirm these from the label of the installed unit. If you are replacing a MULTICAL 602, send the type number, serial number and the flow sensor type (ULTRAFLOW 14, 34 or 54) with its size. Kamstrup’s more recent calculator on this site is the Kamstrup MULTICAL 603; whether it is a suitable replacement depends on the installation and has to be checked against the manufacturer documentation.
