PFlow flowmeter families
Most of the listed models are compact clamp-on sensors grouped by pipe size and duty. The GF family (GFCL, GFR, GF-S-CL, GF-SH-CL for hot water and GF-GH-CL for immersion cooling) and the MF micro flowmeters (MFR, MFCL) serve cooling and process loops on small and medium pipes. The MP series are plug-and-play flow sensors, including the MP801 and a LoRaWAN version. The D116-BTU is a wall-mounted ultrasonic BTU meter, the P116 a portable flowmeter for surveys, and the F8 a fixed meter used in aquaculture. Gentos also builds the F3 series clip-on flowmeters, including a panel-mount version. The VC200-R is a LoRaWAN ball valve that works as a flow switch.

The manufacturer documents use in liquid cooling for data centers and semiconductor plants, chilled and hot water metering in central air conditioning, water supply networks and irrigation, aquaculture, and utility lines in petrochemical and power plants.
Ordering a pFlow ultrasonic flowmeter: what we need
Clamp-on meters are selected from pipe data. Send the pipe outside diameter, wall thickness and material, any liner, the liquid and its temperature, the expected flow span and the straight pipe length available. Add the output you need (4-20 mA, pulse, Modbus, LoRaWAN) and the supply voltage. For BTU meters include the supply and return temperature span.

What pipe information is needed to select a pFlow clamp-on flowmeter?
Outside diameter, wall thickness and pipe material come first, because the sensor spacing and the model size are calculated from them. Add the liner if there is one, the liquid, its temperature and the expected flow span. A photo of the pipe and of the place where the sensor will sit helps us check straight run and access.
Do pFlow clamp-on meters work on every liquid?
Transit-time meters need a full pipe and a liquid that carries sound well: water, glycol mixtures, coolants and similar clean or lightly loaded liquids. Heavy aeration, thick scale or a high solids content weakens the signal. Describe the liquid and the pipe condition and we will check the application limits in the manufacturer's documentation before quoting.
What is the difference between a pFlow flowmeter and a pFlow BTU meter?
A flowmeter reports volume flow only. A BTU meter such as the D116-BTU adds a matched pair of temperature sensors on the supply and return lines and calculates thermal energy from flow and temperature difference. It is the version to ask for when chilled water or heating energy has to be allocated between tenants or plant sections.
What should I know before ordering a pFlow LoRaWAN flow sensor?
LoRaWAN devices are built for a regional frequency plan, and they need a gateway and network server on your side. Tell us the country of use, the frequency plan of your existing gateway if you have one, the reporting interval you want and whether the sensor runs on battery or external power. We then confirm the correct version with the manufacturer.
