perma FLEX PLUS Single-Point Lubricator with Boost Function
Description
FLEX with a boost function and mercury-free cells
perma FLEX PLUS is a compact, ready-to-use single-point lubricator supplied as a complete unit. The discharge period is controlled electronically by the gas generating cells and is adjustable in monthly steps from 1 to 12 months, so the lubrication point receives a steady supply of fresh lubricant for the whole period.
A boost function delivers fresh lubricant quickly when needed, for example after a bearing change. The gas generating cells are mercury-free and can be removed for separate disposal. The unit meets IP 68 and carries the explosion-protection markings listed on the flyer.

When to choose FLEX PLUS
Choose FLEX PLUS when you need the smallest 30 cm³ size, a boost function, or the Ex-marked version for zones with a potentially explosive atmosphere, and the ambient temperature stays within -20 to +55 °C. Note the upper limit is 5 K lower than perma FLEX. Check the Ex marking against the zone, gas group and temperature class of your installation before ordering.
The table shows where the other perma single-point models sit.
| Model | Volume | Pressure build-up |
|---|---|---|
| perma CLASSIC / FUTURA | 120 cm³ | Max. 4 bar |
| perma FLEX | 60, 125 cm³ | Max. 5 bar |
| perma FLEX PLUS | 30, 60, 125 cm³ | Max. 5 bar |
| perma NOVA | 65, 125 cm³ | Max. 6 bar |
| perma STAR VARIO | 60, 120, 250, 500 cm³ | 7.5 bar |
| perma STAR CONTROL | 60, 120, 250, 500 cm³ | 7.5 bar |
| perma ULTRA | 500, 1,000 cm³ | Up to 50 bar |
Installation notes
Setting and activation use the rotary switch, and the discharge period can be regulated after activation. Prepare the lubrication point as for all perma single-point units: clean it, fit a reducer or support flange if required, and pre-fill the point and any line with the grease that is in the cartridge to avoid dry starts. The installation guide covers direct and remote mounting. See also pumps and lubrication equipment and our SKF TLSD SYSTEM 24.
How the perma FLEX PLUS works
The unit contains gas generating cells that react electrochemically when the lubricator is activated. The gas builds up a pressure of up to 5 bar behind a piston, and the piston pushes the grease or oil out through the outlet at a slow, steady rate. The discharge period is set with a rotary switch, in monthly steps from 1 to 12 months. A boost function can empty the lubricant faster when a fresh supply is needed at once. The cells are mercury-free and can be taken out of the unit for separate disposal.
Where perma FLEX PLUS is used
- Bearings of motors, pumps and fans.
- Conveyor rollers and idlers.
- Points that are hard to reach or dangerous to approach.
- Plants that need a steady supply of fresh lubricant.
- Hazardous areas, when the Ex-marked version suits the zone.
Selection checklist for perma FLEX PLUS
- Volume of 30, 60 or 125 cm3.
- Discharge period of 1 to 12 months at +20 degrees C.
- Grease up to NLGI 2, or oil, with the oil retaining valve on oil-filled units.
- Ambient range of -20 to +55 degrees C.
- Pressure build-up of up to 5 bar.
- Protection class IP 68.
- Outlet thread R1/4 outside.
- Dimensions from 60 x 70 mm up to 60 x 116 mm.
- Ex marking checked against the zone, the gas group and the temperature class.
Installation, commissioning and maintenance notes
Choose a lubricant that suits the bearing and the temperature. Screw the unit into the lubrication point, using a short feed line or a fitting where needed, and set the rotary switch to the period that matches the bearing and its running hours. Activate the unit, and note the activation date on the unit and in the maintenance system. Check the unit for leaks, and replace it when it is empty. Keep the used unit in a suitable waste stream, because the cells should be disposed of separately.
Requesting a quotation for the perma FLEX PLUS
Send the volume, the lubricant and the period you need, and tell us if the Ex-marked version is required. Seven Star LLC serves industrial customers in Oman and the GCC and replies with a quotation based on the information provided.
Place in the perma range
The FLEX PLUS is the compact model with the smallest 30 cm3 size, and the datasheet table lists the other single-point models, from CLASSIC to the ULTRA with up to 50 bar.
Temperature limit
The upper ambient limit is 5 K lower than on the perma FLEX, so hot locations need a check before ordering.
Boost function
The boost function is useful after a bearing change, when fresh lubricant is needed quickly.
Lubricator records
Record the lubricant, the setting, the date and the point number on the lubrication schedule.
Documents and quotation
The manufacturer flyer for perma FLEX PLUS (Art. No. 118461) is attached to this page as a download. For a quotation, send the lubricant you want in the cartridge (grease or oil, brand and grade), the cartridge size, the discharge period, the ambient temperature range, the mounting position and whether the point is in a hazardous area. Please confirm the cartridge type and the approval marking against the manufacturer documentation for your exact order code before ordering; the figures on this page are taken from the flyer and are not a substitute for the operating instructions.

About brand
perma-tec is a German maker of automatic single-point and multi-point lubrication systems, founded in 1934 and based in Euerdorf.
Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list perma lubricators for maintenance teams in Oman and the GCC.
perma product series
Chemically driven lubricators include the perma CLASSIC 120 cm³ steel housing unit, the perma FLEX in 60 and 125 cm³ sizes, the perma FLEX PLUS with boost function and the perma NOVA, which compensates for temperature.
Electromechanical lubricators include the perma STAR VARIO, the externally powered perma STAR CONTROL and the high-pressure perma ULTRA with Bluetooth in 500 and 1,000 cm³. Multi-point systems include the perma PRO LINE six-outlet grease system and the perma ECOSY 7-litre oil system.
Chemically driven lubricators such as perma CLASSIC and FLEX use a gas-producing element to set the discharge period, while electromechanical STAR models deliver a set volume independent of temperature and can be monitored. perma PRO LINE and ECOSY supply several points from one reservoir.
Where perma lubricators are used
Bearings of motors, pumps, fans and conveyors, chains, slides and guides, especially hard-to-reach or hazardous points where manual greasing is difficult.
