Description
A tank-and-pump oil system for up to six points
perma ECOSY is a multi-point oil lubrication system that supplies up to six lubrication points with a predefined quantity of oil. Pump and control are built into a 7 litre plastic tank, and control can be time-based (TIME), sensor-based (SENSOR) or impulse-based (CONTROL).
The high-performance pump can serve points up to 10 m away, including soiled and hard-to-reach areas, through special brushes that apply the oil to guideways and drive or transport chains. The manufacturer highlights escalators, moving walkways and conveyors.

Selecting ECOSY
ECOSY is an oil system for chains and guideways, not a grease system: for grease points use the single-point or PRO LINE units. The 7 litre tank gives long service intervals, and the defined quantity per outlet can be set individually, which suits a mix of points with different demands. Check that the oil viscosity falls within 65 to 2000 mm²/s at 40 °C and plan outlet lines up to 10 m. The multifunction display shows function status in several languages, and the individually defined quantity per outlet supports long servicing intervals and lower maintenance cost. Because the system is multifunctional, the same tank can serve escalator or moving-walkway chains and conveyor guideways when each outlet quantity is set individually.
Installation and examples
perma-tec publishes ECOSY installation examples and product change notices (24 V connection, later modifications) with the product. Plan the tube routing from the tank to each brush (6 mm tube, oil only), keep the brushes clean and correctly positioned on the chain or guideway so the metered oil reaches the contact surface, and keep a record of the quantity set per outlet; set the quantity per outlet on the display and test each outlet after commissioning.
