Description
A stainless steel vertical multistage pump from 1 to 125 m3/h
The Lowara e-SV is a non-self-priming vertical multistage pump coupled to a standard motor, built with stainless steel wetted parts and in-line suction and discharge ports. The liquid end sits between the upper cover and pump casing, held by tie rods. It is used for water supply and pressure boosting, irrigation, wash systems, water treatment, boiler feed, hot and cold water circulation, demineralised water, water and glycol, and pharmaceutical, food and beverage duties. The range comprises 11 sizes, from 1SV to 125SV, with delivery up to 160 m3/h and head up to 330 m according to the Xylem catalogue.

Selection and versions
Select by flow and head on the hydraulic range chart, then the version letter for the port style and material (F round flange, T oval flange, R delivery above suction, N AISI 316, V and P Victaulic, C Clamp, K DIN 11851 on 1 to 22SV). The inlet pressure plus the pump pressure must not exceed the nominal pressure PN. For variable-speed boosting the e-SVH (Hydrovar) and e-SVE (permanent magnet motor with e-SM drive) configurations are described in the catalogue. About brand
Xylem works in water: pumps, treatment equipment and the instruments that measure water quality. Its products reach the market under several brand names, and the two on this page are YSI for water quality sondes and Lowara for pumps. The company was formed in 2011 and is based in Washington, D.C., USA. Seven Star LLC sources and supplies Xylem equipment for utilities, laboratories and contractors in Oman and the GCC.

The YSI EXO2 is a multiparameter sonde for unattended water quality monitoring. YSI describes it with seven universal sensor ports, one of them for a central antifouling wiper, powered by four D-cell batteries. With the matching sensors it reports temperature, conductivity, optical dissolved oxygen, pH, ORP, turbidity, algae pigments, fDOM and depth, among others. The sonde is sold as an instrument only; sensors and cables are separate items. Lowara pumps are listed as well, including the e-NSC, e-HM and e-SV models and the intelligent pump range.

For an EXO2, list the sensors required, the cable length, the depth option and whether a handheld or a data logger will read it. For a Lowara pump, send the full type from the nameplate, or the duty point: flow, head, liquid, temperature, motor power and supply voltage. A nameplate photo is best for a replacement pump.
