The NSK 30TAC62C belongs to the NSKTAC C series, angular contact thrust ball bearings made for supporting ball screws. Sealing, lubrication and matching
The sealed versions of the C series use DDG seals, which NSK describes as light-contact seals for high speeds: a labyrinth between the seal lip and the groove in the inner ring keeps foreign particles out and grease in, so the surrounding area stays clean. Some sizes are also offered with V1V non-contact seals for lower torque and heat. Sealed bearings come prepacked with WPH grease that resists high temperature, which saves lubrication work at assembly. The numbering system adds codes for arrangement (for example SU for a universal single bearing), preload and accuracy such as PN7C after the internal design letter.
Ball screw bearings are not interchangeable between series: the C series is for high rigidity, whereas NSK offers the 03 series for high axial load drives such as electric injection moulding machines and the BSBD double-row bearing for compact supports.
