Hanwha Vision XNO-A9084R 8MP AI IR Bullet Camera

Description

An 8MP AI bullet camera for perimeters, gates and car parks

The Hanwha Vision XNO-A9084R is an outdoor IR bullet camera with a 1/1.8 inch sensor, 4K (8MP) resolution at up to 30/25 fps and a 4.4 to 9.3 mm P-iris lens with a horizontal field of view of 113 to 47 degrees. It uses the Wisenet 9 system on chip with dual NPU, 4 GB RAM and 8 GB eMMC, and Wise IR illumination reaches 50 m at 850 nm. The casing carries IP66, IP67 and IK10 ratings.

The AI engine classifies persons, faces, vehicles and license plates with attributes such as clothing colour, vehicle type and colour, and offers similarity search and BestShot thumbnails. Business intelligence functions include people counting, queue management, heatmap, vehicle counting and crowd counting, and dynamic privacy masking is supported. Hanwha lists AI detection distances of up to 35 m to 85 m for a person and 47 m to 112 m for a vehicle.

What to settle before ordering an AI bullet

The XNO-A9084R is the 8MP model of a family that Hanwha also lists in lower-resolution versions on the same housing, so confirm the resolution you need. For long gates and roads the 2.1x lens is relatively short; check the DORI table, which gives 17.7 m for identification at the tele end, and compare it with the PTZ XNP-9300RW if long range is required.

AI analytics reduce false alarms and create searchable metadata, but they need correct installation height and angle. Plan the video management system or recorder that will use the AI metadata through ONVIF Profile M or SUNAPI, since not every platform supports all event types. The camera runs on ordinary 802.3af PoE and offers a power-monitoring and ECO mode.

Cybersecurity features are extensive, including a secure element and IEC 62443-4-1 process certification as printed in the datasheet, which is useful when the site has an IT security policy. In an enquiry state the quantity, mounting method (wall, pole, gang box or conduit), recording system and the analytics you intend to use.
