Axis I8016-LVE Anti-Ligature Network Video Intercom with IR
Description
A robust video intercom for demanding entrances
The Axis I8016-LVE is a compact, vandal-resistant network video intercom for two-way communication, video identification and remote entry control. The casing is stainless steel, zinc and plastic, rated anti-ligature, IP66/IP69, NEMA 4X and IK10, so it suits locations where a plastic panel would not survive, such as prisons, transport sites or exposed industrial gates.
The camera is a 5 MP 1/2.7 inch sensor with a 1.95 mm lens and a 150 degree horizontal field of view. Invisible 940 nm IR LEDs provide night vision, and forensic WDR up to 120 dB depending on the scene handles bright doorways. The audio path has echo cancellation and noise reduction, a built-in speaker with 84 dB at 0.5 m, and SIP for IP phones and PBX systems. ARTPEC-7 provides on-device processing.

Where this intercom fits, and what to settle first
The I8016-LVE fits entrances where robustness and cleanability matter more than a keypad or card reader. The datasheet lists a call, camera and relay device and does not list a keypad or card reader, so credentials would be handled by a separate reader and controller. Its IP69 rating allows high-pressure wash-down, and the anti-ligature design removes points that could be used to attach cords.
Mounting is a design decision: recessed in a US 2-gang or 4 in. square box, in the Axis recessed mount, or on the surface with the wall mount and optional conduit adapter. Confirm the box size on site before ordering. A TI8904 induction loop accessory is listed for hearing-aid users, and glass and face plate replacement kits are listed for damaged units.
Compare it with the Axis P1465-LE bullet camera when the entrance also needs a wider overview, and with the I8116-E when a slimmer mullion intercom with two microphones is required. In your enquiry state the SIP system, the lock current, the mounting box and the quantity.
