Brand: Hilti
Hilti HST4 High-Performance Wedge Anchor M8-M20
Description
The Hilti HST4 is Hilti’s highest-performing wedge expansion anchor, a torque-controlled anchor for bearing high static and seismic loads in cracked concrete. It is made in carbon steel with zinc plating (the HST4-R is the stainless version) and is sized M8 to M20 with two embedment options per size.
A newer-generation wedge anchor for baseplates, handrails and building services
The Hilti product page lists fastening of baseplates, handrails, facade systems and mechanical, electrical or plumbing supports to concrete, in cracked and uncracked concrete where building-code compliance is required. It is assessed for static, quasi-static, seismic (C1 and C2), fire and fatigue loading and is suitable for dry indoor use. Hilti points to improved concrete capacity and pull-out loads that allow smaller baseplates, shallow and deep embedment options, installation with adaptive-torque tools without borehole cleaning, and a patented anti-spin expansion cone.

Choosing between HST3 and HST4
| Anchor | Notes from the datasheets |
|---|---|
| HST3 | Sizes M8 to M24; ETA-98/0001; datasheet Nov-23, European design |
| HST4 | Sizes M8 to M20; ETA-21/0878; datasheet Jun-25 uses ACI 318 chapter 17 design and the UES ER-815 report |
The HST4 datasheet is written for design to ACI 318 using evaluation report ER-815, and for diamond-drilled holes and hollow drill bits it relies on Hilti technical data taken from ETA testing. For European-code design, use the ETA and PROFIS Engineering. The datasheet also notes that HST4 M16 carbon steel anchors have reduced capacity in diamond-drilled holes compared with hammer drilling.
Selection and ordering checks
Confirm the size, anchor length (the Hilti page lists lengths from 50 to 260 mm and pack sizes from 5 to 100 pieces), the embedment option, the concrete thickness, the loading case, the corrosion environment and whether the project specifies ETA or ACI design. Ask for the stainless HST4-R where corrosion resistance is needed, and check that the approval validity date on the UES report is acceptable to the specifier.
Documents and quotation
For a quotation on the HST4, send Seven Star LLC the exact model, quantity and delivery point in Oman or elsewhere in the GCC. Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier based in Muscat and does not hold any manufacturer status for Hilti. The Hilti HST4 (-R) technical datasheet (steel-to-concrete, ACI design, update Jun-25) is attached as a manufacturer PDF; ETAs and other approvals are listed on the Hilti product page. Current item numbers, pack sizes and availability should be read from the Hilti product page. Related Hilti items sit in the Material Handling & Lifting Equipment category.

About brand
Hilti is the Liechtenstein construction technology company for fastening, anchoring, firestop, installation and power tool systems. The brothers Martin and Eugen Hilti opened a small mechanical workshop in Schaan, Liechtenstein, in 1941, and the company turned to fastening technology after Martin Hilti acquired a fastening patent in 1948. Hilti is still headquartered in Schaan and controlled by the Martin Hilti Family Trust, created in 1980.
Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list Hilti power tools and firestop products, each with the manufacturer operating instructions, for contractors and maintenance teams in Oman and the GCC.
