Brand: Elektror
Elektror HRD High-Pressure Radial Blower, up to 20,960 Pa
Description
High-pressure radial blowers for demanding air duties
The Elektror HRD series are high-speed, high-pressure radial blowers in cast aluminium. The manufacturer lists 11 sizes with air flow rates from 10 to 97 m³/min and pressures from 4,900 to 20,960 Pa at speeds up to 7,965 rpm, which puts them well above the pressure range of the RD series. They are used for cooling, blowing off, extraction, drying and vacuum generation.
The pressure comes from higher rotational speed: the blowers run on a frequency converter, either mounted in a control cabinet (FU) or compact on the motor for outputs up to 7.5 kW (FUK). The catalogue also lists BOOSTED, flange-housing, base-plate and motorless versions, so the same impeller and housing can be installed in different layouts.
Technical specifications
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Construction | Cast aluminium housing; impeller of sheet aluminium and steel, dynamically balanced; low noise and vibration-free running |
| Drive | Direct-drive motor to EN 60034-1, IP 54; 50 Hz standard 230/400 V delta/star; 60 Hz versions 277/480 V; +/-10 % voltage tolerance |
| Frequency converter operation | All high-pressure blowers can be configured for converter operation; motors have PTC sensors and improved winding insulation; permitted frequency 95 to 135 Hz depending on type |
| Compact converter (FUK) | Mounted on the motor for blowers up to 7.5 kW; both converter variants are available for EMC limit class B as standard |
| Ambient temperature | -20 to +60 °C for drive motors (higher ambient only after consulting the manufacturer) |
| Conveyed medium temperature | -20 to +80 °C; up to 180 °C with a temperature barrier (not for the BOOSTED range) |
| Options | IP 55, tropical insulation, ATEX versions on request, system connection components |

Selection, operation and what to confirm before ordering
Choose the HRD when the system resistance is too high for an RD blower, for example fine filters, long process ducts or vacuum duty. Because the pressure depends on speed, the blower must be operated with the correct converter parameters: the catalogue notes that belt-driven versions must not exceed the rated motor frequency and that maximum frequencies of 95 to 135 Hz apply to direct-drive types according to the nameplate. Confirm the duty point (flow and pressure), the electrical supply, the converter type (FU or FUK), the housing position and the medium temperature.
The catalogue is dated 05.2018 in a Chinese and English edition; the manufacturer also publishes a one-page data sheet for the HRD 16T FU/FUK and an ATEX catalogue, so check the current revision when a project needs a specific size. Related products are in HVAC & Combustion.
Documents and quotation
The Elektror HRD high-pressure blower catalogue (Chinese/English, edition 05.2018) is attached to this page and is the manufacturer’s own document, not a Seven Star summary. It contains the dimension drawings, characteristic curves and technical data of each variant.
Quote the duty point, converter type and supply. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, quotes the HRD series against your application data; send the enclosure size, ambient temperature, supply voltage and quantity so the correct variant and article number can be confirmed before an offer is issued.

About brand
Elektror is a German manufacturer of industrial fans and side channel blowers. Elektror airsystems was founded in 1924, has its headquarters in Ostfildern and produces at Waghäusel in Germany and Chorzów in Poland. The company builds radial and axial industrial fans and side channel blowers, and supplies accessories and customised ventilation solutions.
Elektror blower range
The centrifugal range includes the RD medium-pressure and HRD high-pressure blowers in cast aluminium, the ND low-pressure series, the A-HP high-pressure blowers for frequency-converter operation, and steel and stainless steel S-series blowers such as the S-LP and S-HE. Side channel blowers are offered as SD, 1SD and 2SD, and many centrifugal sizes are available as ATEX versions to directive 2014/34/EU on request.
Requesting a quote for blowers
Send the blower type, the required volumetric flow and total or static pressure, the voltage and frequency, the medium with its temperature and density, and the housing position. The manufacturer's catalogues use the same ordering data, so the exact duty point lets the right size be confirmed before an offer is issued.
