Brand: Task Force Tips
Task Force Tips UE-125-NF 125 GPM In-Line Foam Eductor
Description
The Task Force Tips UE-125-NF is a 125 gpm (475 L/min) in-line foam eductor with a 1.5 in (38 mm) NH female full-time swivel rocker inlet and a 1.5 in NH male rigid outlet. It draws foam concentrate into the water stream at six detented proportioning positions, OFF, 1/4%, 1/2%, 1%, 3% and 6%, so a single unit covers Class A wetting foam and Class B concentrates from a hose line without a foam pump or tank.
The 125 Series is TFT’s hand-line eductor and it is supplied with a 36 in long, 1 in ID clear intake hose and a 20 in wand. The inlet is rated 200 psi (13.8 bar) and the body weighs 4.5 lb on the product page, light enough to be carried on the hose.

Foam types and concentrations
The manual states the 125 Series can be used with 1/4% or 1/2% Class A concentrates, with high-viscosity 1%, 3%, 6%, 3×3% and 3×6% alcohol-resistant Class B concentrates, with synthetic fluorine-free foams, and with plain AFFF, freeze-protected and FFFP foams. Lower-viscosity foams are inducted faster than calibrated, giving stronger concentrations and shorter use of a given supply, so the manual says to test with the foam actually used. The calibration used National Foam Knock Down for Class A (20 centipoise) and Universal Plus 3%/6% AR-AFFF for Class B (2892 centipoise).
Selection and ordering guide
UE-125-NF is the 125 gpm body with 1.5 in NH threads. The same series includes 60, 95 and 120 gpm bodies, and the manual says not to intermix metering heads and eductor bodies of different flow rates because the foam strength would be wrong. Use nozzles whose gallonage equals or exceeds the eductor: the manual lists the Twister, Metro, Ultimatic, QuadraFog (including FQ125 and FQS125), G-Force and Mid-Matic families with the matching FoamJet attachments, and it warns that a larger nozzle compromises reach and proportioning.
The maximum back pressure of 130 psi sets the hose lay. Add nozzle pressure, hose friction loss and elevation loss (0.4 psi per foot), and keep the total under the limit.
Installation and operation notes
Lay the hose, connect the nozzle, charge the line and open the nozzle fully, set the pump so the eductor inlet reaches the pressure on the body label, turn the knob to the percentage, then put the wand in the foam. Do not lengthen the foam suction hose, which weakens the foam. After use, drop pump pressure below 75 psi, shut the nozzle, hold the wand and push the red flush button on each setting until no foam shows; then retract the lock ring to remove the metering head and wash the parts. The free-floating, three-fin check disk keeps water from flowing back into the foam pail. Salt water use needs foam maker guidance and fresh-water cleaning, and the manual says corrosion is not covered by warranty.
Applications in GCC industry
Eductors are the simplest way to give a plant brigade or contractor crew foam capability on a hose line at fuel depots, tanker offloading, workshops and flammable-liquid stores. The manual covers alcohol-resistant Class B concentrates as well as Class A foam; the foam must be matched to the hazard and to local fire authority rules.
Installation and selection notes
An eductor needs the right pressure at the inlet and a limited back pressure on the outlet, so check the nozzle flow and the hose length against the printed values. Match the foam concentrate to the proportioning setting and rinse the eductor after use to prevent concentrate from drying inside. Keep the intake hose clean and free from kinks.
Information needed for a quotation
Send the full model code, the quantity, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC, the intended use and any hoses, couplings or accessories needed, so that the complete package can be quoted together.
Documents and supply information
The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification before a purchase is confirmed. Ratings, flows, pressures and dimensions are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and building services projects.
Frequently asked questions
What flow does the UE-125-NF eductor need?
125 gpm (475 L/min) at 200 psi (13.8 bar) inlet pressure, with a nozzle of equal or larger gallonage.
Which concentrations can it proportion?
It has detents for 1/4%, 1/2%, 1%, 3% and 6%, plus OFF; Class A foams use 1/4% or 1/2% and Class B foams 1%, 3% or 6%.
What is the maximum back pressure?
130 psi (9 bar) on this 200 psi model; beyond that the eductor will not work.
Can I lengthen the foam pick-up hose?
No. The manual says the suction hose is matched to the eductor and lengthening it weakens the foam.
What should I confirm before ordering?
Confirm thread type, nozzle gallonage, the foam concentrate and its viscosity, and the hose lay, then request a quotation with the part number UE-125-NF.
