Kentec Sigma ZXT K192311XM2 Single-Area Extinguishant Panel
Description
The Kentec Sigma ZXT K192311XM2 is the standard-enclosure, 2.6 A version of the Sigma ZXT single-area extinguishant control panel. It provides controls and indications for one extinguishing release system, with three conventional detection zones that supply the alarm stimulus for release. The datasheet DS144 states approval and certification to EN12094-1, EN54-2 and EN54-4, and describes a dynamic LCD, a 1000-event log and six programmable relay outputs.
Product overview
Any single zone, or a combination of zones, can be configured to contribute to release. The dynamic LCD changes colour with panel status: red flashing during the countdown to release, green when normal, red for fire and released conditions, and yellow for fault, disabled and test conditions. Turquoise and blue show access levels 2 and 3. Two extinguishing outputs can work together as common outputs or be set as main and reserve, so a user can return a system to a functional state quickly after a release by switching to the second set of cylinders.
Functions at a glance
- Single area extinguishing panel with three conventional detection zones.
- Dual extinguishing outputs with a main and reserve configuration option.
- Secure event logging of 1000 events, downloadable by USB with Loop Explorer 2 software.
- Four configurable user passcodes and password-separated user and engineer menus.
- Six programmable volt-free changeover relay outputs, each set to one of fourteen functions such as alarm, fault, hold, abort and released.
- Extinguishing release countdown timer, compatible with I.S. barriers.
- Supports up to seven Sigma ZXT status indicators, also compatible with Sigma Si status units for retrofit applications.

Choosing enclosure and supply
Pick the enclosure and power supply that match the project: K192311XM2 is the standard panel with a 2.6 A supply, K192311XM3 is the large panel with 2.6 A, and K195311XM3 is the large panel with a 5.25 A supply. The larger supply allows heavier batteries and more connected load. Status indicators and ancillary cards from the Sigma ZSi family are separate items. Note the photo on this page is the datasheet range image showing two panels and two status units.
Installation notes
The installation manual Man-1451EN describes the panel as environmental class A and lists the optional EN12094-1 functions available. It also states that up to seven status indicator units and seven ancillary boards can be connected. Configuration is done from the front fascia through password-protected menus, or by downloading and uploading with Loop Explorer 2 over USB, which can also produce a record of the configuration for commissioning documents.
Typical applications
Single-hazard gaseous extinguishing rooms such as server rooms, UPS and battery rooms, archives and control rooms. The main and reserve output option suits sites that keep a second set of cylinders for a quick return to service.
Selection and installation notes
A fire alarm or extinguishant control panel is selected from the number of zones or areas, the devices to be connected, the standby battery duration and the standard the project requires. It must be designed, installed, programmed and commissioned by competent fire system engineers to the code and authority rules for the project, with a cause and effect plan, correct battery sizing, cable of the specified type and a full test of every device and output before handover. Confirm the certification and listing needed for the project with the authority before purchase. Keep the commissioning records and the access codes with the site documents.
Information needed for a quotation
Send the full model code, the quantity, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC, the intended use and any accessories needed, so that the complete package can be quoted together.
Documents and supply information
The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification and the site risk assessment before a purchase is confirmed. Ratings, standards and dimensions are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and building services projects.
