DAB ESYBOX MINI 3 Electronic Pressure Booster Pump

ESYBOX MINI 3 is a compact self-priming multistage booster from DAB with a built-in inverter, non-return valve and pressure vessel: 4.8 m3/h, up to 55 m head, self-priming to 8 m suction depth and a 7.5 bar maximum working pressure on a 230 V single-phase supply.

DAB sells the ESYBOX MINI 3 as an electronic pressure boosting system for pressure boosting, groundwater extraction from shallow wells, rainwater reuse and gardening or irrigation of small gardens and vegetable patches. The inverter, built-in non-return valve and built-in pressure vessel mean it arrives as a complete booster rather than a bare pump that needs a separate controller.

The sheet also lets two units be combined in wireless mode on an EsyTwin Mini base to reach 8.8 m3/h at up to 55 m, and describes remote monitoring through the H2D app and web portal for consumption, comfort settings and alarm notifications. The single unit has three impellers.

Single unit or twin set, and what you must add

The sheet covers one code, ESYBOX MINI 3, plus the twin arrangement of two units on an EsyTwin Mini base. Choose the single unit for flows up to 4.8 m3/h; go to the twin kit if you need to double the flow while keeping the same 55 m head. For larger demand the same selection graph shows ESYBOX, ESYBOX MAX and ESYBOX DIVER models, which are different codes.

Accessories listed with the product include a kit of two three-piece unions, a quick-connect base for two pumps, an outdoor kit (EsyCover with EsyGrid Mini), and EsyTank 300 mini and 500 mini storage tanks with a specific EsyDock. The MINI 3 itself is not supplied with them.

Installation and set-up

The unit can sit on its feet, mount on a wall or run horizontal or vertical, with suction and delivery on either side to ease piping. Maximum ambient temperature is +50°C and the motor rating is IPX4, so use the outdoor kit if it will be exposed to rain. Self-priming lift is limited to 8 m. The start-up wizard guides the first set-up and the display swivels to suit the mounting position. Check mains frequency: the sheet gives 50/60 Hz.

Uses in the Gulf

Villa and apartment pressure boosting from a roof or ground tank, shallow well and rainwater reuse systems, and small garden irrigation are the stated fits. In hot climates remember the liquid limit is +40°C and the ambient limit +50°C, so shade the unit and keep it out of direct sun; the sheet gives no dust or salt-air rating.

A booster set is selected from the peak demand, the required pressure and the supply pressure at the inlet. Fit it on a level base with isolating valves on both sides and flexible connectors to reduce vibration, protect the supply with a suction pressure switch where the inlet can fail, check the vessel pre-charge and set the pressure to match the highest outlet in the building.
