Installation, commissioning and maintenance

Mount the cylinder with accessories so that the rod load is axial and not subject to side loads. Fit flow controls on the exhaust ports, supply filtered and dried compressed air, and start with the cushioning screws nearly closed before opening them gradually to remove impact at the end of travel. Check that the proximity sensors respond at both end positions and recheck fixings after the first operating hours. If the cylinder is run on lubricated air it must continue to be lubricated, because the factory grease is washed out.
