Tegera Oil Grip 8855 Cut Level C Nitrile Foam Gloves
Description
A thin cut C glove that keeps its grip in oily conditions
Tegera Oil Grip 8855 is an 18 gauge knitted cut resistant glove with a nitrile foam palm. Ejendals positions it as a versatile cut C glove that grips well in dry, moist and slightly oily environments, with touchscreen functionality and a reinforcement between thumb and index finger. The liner uses CRF cut resistant technology and contains 30% recycled polyester.
The sheet adds one note that matters on the shop floor: the oil grip needs a few minutes of oil contact to activate. The foam nitrile surface works as a normal grip glove in dry conditions and improves once it has met oil. The glove is Oeko-Tex approved and comes in an unusually wide size range, 5 to 12.

Reading the EN 388 result
The code 4X43C is abrasion 4, blade cut not tested (X), tear 4, puncture 3, and ISO 13997 cut level C (code structure from EN 388). The blade cut field is X because the cut level is determined with the ISO 13997 method, which the sheet reports as 12.4 N. Level C is a mid-range cut level, suitable for sheet handling and metal parts with moderate edges. For fine, sharp stock compare the Tegera 8846 at level F.
Eight sizes are available, which helps in mixed crews where small-handed workers usually get an oversized glove. Order by article number with size, such as 8855-9, and note that bundles are 6 pairs and bulk cartons are 72 pairs.
Use, activation and care
Allow a few minutes of oil contact before judging the oil grip, as the sheet notes. Keep the glove away from open flame and hot surfaces, as no heat rating is printed. The knit cuff keeps the glove on the hand and closes the wrist gap.
Wash only according to the manufacturer label, and replace the glove when the foam wears through to the liner or the fingertips begin to fray; once the nitrile layer is gone the cut and abrasion performance printed on the sheet no longer applies.
Metal parts, maintenance and logistics
Areas of use printed include assembly, installation work, machine operating, metalwork, sheet-metal work, repair work, transport work and warehouse work. The listed industries include oil and gas extraction, metal fabrication, machinery manufacturing, electricity and gas supply, mining and quarrying, and building and construction. In workshops and yards that means pipe-fitting, panel handling, spare-part picking and light oily maintenance.
Selection and care notes
Use this glove where cut risk is moderate and the work is light assembly, handling of oily parts or sheet metal. Check the cut level against the task, since level C does not protect against heavy blades or machine hazards. Since the oil grip works after contact with oil, new gloves may feel less grippy at first. Wash according to the care label and replace the glove when the palm coating is worn through.
Information needed for a quotation
Send the full glove code, the size range, the quantity in pairs, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC and the hazards the glove must cover, so that the complete supply can be quoted together.
Documents and supply information
The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification and the site risk assessment before a purchase is confirmed. Standards, performance levels and sizes are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and construction projects.

About brand
Tegera is the safety glove brand of Ejendals AB, a Swedish maker based in Leksand. Each Tegera glove is sold under a short model number, and the product sheet for that number prints the EN 388, EN 407, EN 511 or EN ISO 374-1 results behind the markings.
Seven Star LLC lists Tegera gloves for welding, chemical handling, cut risk, cold weather and power-tool work, and supplies them to contractors and plant owners in Oman against the exact model number and size.
Tegera glove models on this page
The range here covers the Welding 7788 goatskin glove, the Chemforce 7350 winter-lined nitrile and Chemforce 8160 latex gloves, the Oil Grip 8855 and ultra-thin 8846 cut resistant gloves, the 8821 high-visibility knit, the Pro 9102, Pro 9126 and anti-vibration Pro 9180A, and the Dynamic Strength 7776 impact and cut glove.
Where Tegera gloves are used
Welding and fabrication yards, chemical and petrochemical handling, mechanical maintenance with oily parts, cold stores and grinding or chipping work are the usual places. The Ejendals data sheets name oil and gas extraction, metal fabrication, mining and building among their industries.
Ordering Tegera gloves: what we need
Send the model number, the size and the number of pairs. Ejendals article numbers add the size, for example 7788-9 for a large. For chemical gloves also give the substances, because the permeation results are printed for only a few test chemicals.
