Delta DIN Eco Series 3-Phase DIN Rail Power Supplies DRL-W3EN
Description
Slim three-phase DIN rail power supplies for 24 V and 48 V
The Delta DIN Eco series is a range of three-phase DIN rail power supplies with a wide 340 to 575 VAC input (3ENA variants up to 600 VAC). The May 2026 flyer describes a slim and compact design with 95 percent efficiency, 4 kV / 2 kV ultra-high surge protection capacity, a DC OK relay above 480 W and an LED indicator, and an ambient operating temperature of -40 to 70 deg C with full power up to 50 deg C.
The flyer names target applications as ESS, data centre, wind turbine and EV charger, and states that the series meets global certifications IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 and 61010-1. Models are offered at 24 V and 48 V output in four power steps.

Using a three-phase DIN Eco supply
Three-phase supplies draw balanced current from all three lines and tolerate the wide industrial range of 340 to 575 VAC, which suits 400 V, 480 V and 575 V systems without re-tapping. The 3EN versions fit panels with a 24 V control supply, and the 48 V versions suit telecom, energy storage and some EV charger electronics.
Select the power from the total 24 V or 48 V load plus margin, and the width from the available rail space: widths in the flyer run from 40 mm for 120 W to 110 mm for 960 W. The DIN Pro series is the single-phase wide-input alternative with power boost.
Selection and sibling series
Delta publishes the DIN Eco flyer together with a general industrial power supply leaflet that also lists single-phase LYTE II, Force-GT and other ranges; the leaflet is a multi-series overview and is not a separate product here. For the matching single-phase range see the Delta DIN Pro page, and for other power items the power module category. Confirm the 3EN or 3ENA suffix and availability at quotation.
Mounting and wiring on the DIN rail
Snap the unit onto a standard rail with the terminals in the orientation shown in the Delta instructions, since convection cooling relies on air moving freely through the housing. Leave the side, top and bottom spacing the datasheet asks for, and keep high-loss neighbours such as drives or contactors from blowing hot air straight into the supply. Protect the three-phase input with a suitable breaker or fuses chosen from the manufacturer data, use ferrules on fine-stranded conductors, and tighten terminals to the stated torque. Size the output cables for the full current and keep voltage drop low on long runs to field devices, because a 24 V circuit loses a noticeable share of its voltage over thin wire. Connect protective earth before anything else.
Commissioning checks
Before connecting the load, measure all three phase-to-phase voltages and confirm they sit inside the input range of the model you have. Power up with the load isolated, check the LED indicator and the output voltage at the terminals, then add loads in stages. On units above 480 W, wire the DC OK relay into the PLC or alarm circuit so a failing supply is reported rather than discovered when a controller drops out.
Heat and dust in Gulf control panels
The flyer states full power up to 50 deg C, and the inside of an outdoor or rooftop panel in Oman can exceed that in summer even when the shade temperature is lower. Check the derating curve in the full datasheet, measure the actual cabinet temperature on a hot afternoon, and size the supply or the cooling so the unit is not working at its limit. Avoid placing it at the top of a crowded cabinet where hot air collects. Fine dust settling on the housing and in vents reduces cooling, so filtered ventilation and periodic cleaning are worthwhile on desert and quarry sites, and on coastal or ESS installations with humid air, a closed, ventilated enclosure helps prevent condensation on the terminals.
Maintenance and selection reminders
During routine panel checks, look for discoloured terminals, verify the output voltage under normal load and confirm that the DC OK signal, where used, still reaches the control system. Record the load added to each supply over time, because control panels tend to grow and a supply chosen with little margin may end up overloaded. When choosing between 24 V and 48 V, follow the voltage of the connected devices rather than the cable length alone, and pick the power step from the measured or calculated load with a margin for future additions.
Information to include in an enquiry
List the model code from the table above, the three-phase supply voltage on site, the total connected load on the output, the space left on the rail and whether the DC OK relay will be monitored. These points let us check the selection against the Delta documents before quoting.

About brand
Delta, founded in 1971 in Taiwan, is known on the factory floor for compact PLCs, drives and power supplies. Its DVP controllers are small PLCs often seen in machine panels. Seven Star LLC lists the Delta DVP04AD-S2 analog input module and the ESR-48/30D rectifier module, and sources Delta PLC modules and power parts for panel builders and maintenance teams in Oman and the GCC.
Delta PLC families and the DVP slim line
Delta's controller program runs from the DVP series through the modular AS series to the AH series. Inside the DVP series, the slim CPUs (among them DVP-SS2, SA2, SX2, SV2 and SE) take slim expansion modules on their right side. The DVP04AD-S2 is one of these: a four-channel analog input module for voltage or current signals, which the CPU reads with FROM and TO instructions.
Ordering Delta parts: what we need
For PLC modules, send the complete type from the side label, including the suffix, and the CPU model it will join. For a rectifier module, send the type, the DC output voltage and current, the AC input, and the model of the power shelf or system it plugs into.
