High-efficiency steel and stainless steel centrifugal blowers

The Elektror S-HE series are high-efficiency centrifugal blowers with closed impellers of steel and stainless steel and welded housings, built for large air volumes at medium system resistance. Nine sizes, from the S-HE 340/85 to the S-HE 540/135, cover 58.8 to 260.9 m³/min and up to 5,530 Pa, which makes them the highest-volume family in this selection.

The catalogue lists conveying high air volumes at medium resistances, extraction of gases and vapours, cooling of apparatus, ventilation, drying installations, exhaust gas extraction in the automotive sector and filter systems as the typical applications. The welded construction, standard flanges and IE3 motors suit permanent installations in plants.

Selection and what to confirm before ordering

Select the blower from the duty point and the characteristic curves, and note that the motor voltage changes at 3.5 kW. The standard flanges make the connection to ducting straightforward; check the flange sizes in the catalogue drawings. For high-temperature or corrosive air, ask for the exact material of each part, because the catalogue describes steel and stainless steel components. Confirm flow, pressure, supply voltage and frequency, converter use, housing position, medium temperature and density, and accessories such as intake and pressure-side components and the Omron converter listed in the catalogue.

The catalogue edition is 26.02.24 and bilingual. As for all radial blowers in the Elektror catalogues, the operating point is where the blower characteristic crosses the system resistance curve, and the resistance of ducts, filters and fittings rises roughly with the square of the flow, so doubling the flow requires about four times the pressure.
