Compressed fibre, PTFE and graphite gasket sheets are cut into flange gaskets for pipelines, pumps, valves and vessels. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, supplies gasket sheet materials from Klinger and Garlock to maintenance teams and fabricators in Oman and the GCC.
Types of gasket sheet in this category
Fibre-reinforced NBR sheets such as KLINGERSIL C-4300, C-4400, C-4430, C-4324 and C-4500 and Garlock BLUE-GARD Style 3000 and 3200 cover water, steam, oils and gases at moderate temperatures. Klinger Quantum uses HNBR for higher temperature service and top-graph 2000 adds graphite. Filled PTFE sheets like Klinger top-chem 2000, 2003, 2005 and 2006 and Garlock GYLON Style 3500, 3504, 3510, 3530, 3545, 3565 and EPIX handle aggressive acids, alkalis and solvents.
How to select a gasket sheet
Choose the material on the fluid, temperature and pressure, then check its P x T limit for the gasket thickness you intend to use. PTFE grades suit chemicals but need correct bolt load to avoid creep, fibre sheets suit general utilities, and graphite-containing sheets suit higher temperatures. Specify the sheet thickness and size, or the flange standard and size if you need cut gaskets.
Data needed for a quotation
Send the material grade, thickness, sheet size and quantity, or the flange standard, size, pressure class and service.
What to include in your inquiry
These details let us quote the right item the first time.
- Valve type and size (DN / NPS)
- Pressure class and end connection
- Body and trim material
- Fluid, flow rate, inlet and outlet pressure, temperature
- Actuator type and fail position
- Accessories: positioner, limit switches, solenoid
Missing some of them? Send what you have. A nameplate photo or an old part number is enough to start.

Frequently Asked Questions
Filled PTFE sheets such as Klinger top-chem 2005 or Garlock GYLON Style 3510 resist most acids. Check the chemical resistance chart for the exact medium and concentration.
It is the product of operating pressure and temperature that a sheet can safely withstand for a given thickness. Stay below the manufacturer limit for reliable sealing.
PTFE can cold flow under load. Filled and modified PTFE grades reduce creep, and correct bolt torque keeps the joint tight.
Thinner gaskets, typically 1.5 mm, seal better and creep less on smooth, flat flanges. Thicker sheets are used only when flanges are uneven.
The grade, thickness, sheet size and quantity, or flange details if cut gaskets are needed.
