01870.0-30 is the STEGO FPI 018 Filter Fan Plus, size 1, for 92 x 92 mm cut-outs, in the 230 V, 50 Hz version with airflow direction in (blowing). It draws 12 W, delivers 19 m3/h blowing and 13 m3/h through the exit filter, runs at 39 dB(A) and is rated IP54 and NEMA Type 12 (UL).

The Filter Fan Plus concept pairs a fan with a separate exit filter: the fan blows cooler outside air into the enclosure and the warmer air inside leaves through the FPI 118 exit filter with air-flap technology. STEGO describes it as optimum air conditioning of the enclosure and notes that only one filter mat is needed, on the filter fan itself.

The mounting frame carries four built-in rotary latches (twist locks), so the fan snaps into a 92 x 92 mm cut-out without separate hardware; a drilling pattern for screw fixing is also marked on the frame. The FPI 018 series is available in several sizes and as FPO (airflow direction out) versions; this page is size 1 with airflow in. Choose FPI when you want positive pressure inside the enclosure, which helps keep dust out of the door gaps, and choose FPO when the fan should pull warm air out.

For wet environments pair the fan with the water jet protection bonnet FFH 086 (08670.0-00), which STEGO states raises the protection type to IP56. The 115 V, 60 Hz version 01870.9-30 is louder (43 dB(A)) but moves 23 m3/h.

Installation and operation notes

Press the fan frame into the 92 x 92 mm cut-out and lock it with the four rotary latches; for permanent screw fixing use the pattern marked on the frame. Connect via the two pressure clamps, using wire-end ferrules on stranded wire. Fit the exit filter FPI 118 in a second cut-out placed low or high on the opposite side so the air crosses the equipment.

The note on the datasheet confirms that other voltages are available on request. Remember that cleaning intervals depend entirely on dust load; check the G3 mat before the warm season.

Selection and maintenance notes
