Safety Jogger Caldera S7S Waterproof Rigger Safety Boots

Description

A waterproof, metal-free rigger boot for harsh sites

Safety Jogger Caldera S7S is a waterproof rigger boot with a rubber outsole that the sheet calls heat-resistant, metal-free and designed for harsh environments. The upper is crazy horse leather over a lining of recycled mesh and a membrane, the toecap is nano carbon and the midsole is an anti-puncture textile, so no metal parts are involved.

It is category S7S with SR, SC, LG, FO, HI, HRO, CI and ESD, to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 and ASTM F2413:2024. The heavy-class boot weighs 0.860 kg for the tested sample and covers EU 35 to 50. Industries on the sheet are chemical, construction, industry, mining and oil and gas, and the environments are cold, extremely slippery, muddy, uneven, warm surfaces and wet.

Key features

  • Waterproof (WR) construction with membrane lining
  • Heat resistant outsole (HRO), resists temperatures up to 300 C per the sheet
  • Nano carbon toecap, metal free, no thermal or electrical conductivity
  • Anti-puncture textile midsole
  • ESD: volume resistance between 100 kOhm and 100 MOhm
  • Ladder grip (LG), scuff cap (SC), heat insulation (HI), cold insulation (CI)
  • Oil and fuel resistant (FO), slip resistant (SR) rubber NBR/BASF PU outsole
  • Pull-on rigger style with SJ recycled foam footbed (96% recycled)

What S7S combines

The category printed is S7S; the markings that tell you most are WR for waterproof, HRO for a heat resistant outsole, HI for heat insulation, CI for cold insulation, ESD, LG and FO. Few boots carry all of them together.

The measured values show good margins: heel energy absorption of 38 J against 20 J, ESD 40 MOhm inside the 0.1 to 100 MOhm window and toecap clearances of 16.0 and 21.0 mm against 14 mm. The impact clearance of 16.0 mm has the least margin. The boot is heavier than a shoe at 0.860 kg, so choose it for harsh tasks and not for light indoor work.

Wearing a rigger boot

A pull-on style gets the boot on quickly and sheds mud, but it gives less ankle lock than a lace-up boot. Check the cuff and the membrane for cuts before wet shifts, because the waterproof claim depends on an intact membrane.

The HRO rating is for contact with a hot surface for a short time, as in the EN ISO 20345 test (general information). Do not walk through molten metal or standing hot liquid. Clean the boot, let it dry slowly away from heaters, and replace it after impact or sole wear.

Oil, gas, mining and chemical sites

The sheet lists chemical, construction, industry, mining and oil and gas, with environments that include warm surfaces and muddy, wet and extremely slippery ground. The metal-free toe and midsole also help where staff pass metal detectors several times a day, as Safety Jogger notes for metal-free shoes. Typical users are drilling crews, pipeline workers, plant operators and civil crews.

Selection and care notes

S7S is a metal-free category used where metal detectors or thermal conductivity matter, in addition to waterproof performance and heat-resistant outsole. Check the marks against the site hazards, including the contact heat limit of the outsole, and do not use the boot for hazards outside its rating. Keep the membrane clean and dry inside, and replace the boot after damage.

Information needed for a quotation

Send the full product code, the size range, the quantity in pairs, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC and the hazards the footwear must cover, so that the complete supply can be quoted together.

Documents and supply information

The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification and the site risk assessment before a purchase is confirmed. Standards, category marks and sizes are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and construction projects.

About brand

Safety Jogger is a Belgian personal protective equipment brand whose safety shoes and boots are tested to EN ISO 20345 and, on many models, to ASTM F2413. Each model has a product sheet that prints the materials, the category marks and measured results such as slip friction, heel energy and toecap clearance.

Seven Star LLC lists Safety Jogger shoes and boots for industrial sites and supplies them to contractors and plant owners in Oman against the exact model name and size.

Safety Jogger models on this page

The models range from the S1P Gobi, Desert and ESD Cador shoes, through the S3 Bestrun2, Dakar EW, Cador S3 Mid and Labor with its HRO rubber outsole, to the metal-free Flux S3S Mid and the waterproof S7S Caldera and Gora boots.

Where Safety Jogger footwear is used

Construction sites, workshops, warehouses, kitchens, chemical plants, mines and oil and gas locations are listed in the product sheets, with environments from dry floors to mud, hot surfaces and extremely slippery ground.

Ordering Safety Jogger footwear: what we need

Send the model name, the colour and the EU size, and tell us the protection marks you need, such as ESD, HRO or metal-free. Models are named rather than coded, so the exact name matters.
