Tegera Pro 9126 Waterproof Winter Work Gloves with Sympatex

Description

A waterproof, windproof winter glove for all-round work

Tegera Pro 9126 is a winter-lined, waterproof glove that uses a Sympatex membrane, which the sheet states is PTFE-free. The palm is Microthan+ synthetic leather with a diamond grip pattern, the back is polyester, and the glove has a fleece lining and a reflector. It is described as a high-tech professional glove for all-round work, with a reinforced index finger, reinforced seams, reinforced fingertips, pre-curved fingers and a specially designed thumb.

The cold rating is documented rather than just claimed: EN 511:2006 code 221, flexibility behaviour at minus 20 C and extreme cold flexibility at minus 50 C are all printed on the data sheet. It is a Category II glove classed as an all-round work, assembly and cold insulation glove, and it is chrome free, which removes the chrome allergy risk from leather tanning.

Choosing a cold glove by its EN 511 code

EN 511 gives three numbers: convective cold, contact cold and water penetration (general code structure). The 221 printed for 9126 shows level 2 for both cold figures and level 1 for water penetration, which matches the waterproof membrane. The two clause results add flexibility proof at -20 C and -50 C. These are laboratory results, so real comfort also depends on activity, humidity and how long the hands stay still.

The EN 388 result 2121X means abrasion 2, cut 1, tear 2 and puncture 1, which is basic mechanical protection. Four sizes are listed (8 to 11, M to XXL); if your crew needs smaller sizes, ask about the rest of the Pro range before ordering.

Using and caring for the glove

The membrane works only while it stays intact, so avoid contact with sharp edges and solvents. Dry the glove from the inside at room temperature, never on a heater, because high heat can damage the membrane and the TPU layer.

The glove is intended for dark, windy, dry, wet, oily and slippery environments, as the sheet lists, and its reflector improves visibility at night. In warm weather the lining makes it uncomfortable; choose the unlined Tegera 9102 for warm shifts.

Cold stores, night shifts and wet outdoor work

The sheet lists machine operating, building and construction, carpentry, soil preparation, transport work, airport work, mining, forest work, agricultural work and gardening, with industries such as metal fabrication, transport, electricity and gas supply, warehousing, and public safety. Typical cold-weather uses are refrigerated warehouses, cold chain transport and winter nights on exposed sites (general information); for ordinary hot-weather work a lined glove is not needed.

Selection and care notes

The winter glove is selected from the cold code and the work. Compare the printed EN 511 values with the lowest working temperatures, and consider that wet gloves lose insulation. Dry the glove naturally away from direct heat after use, check the membrane and seams regularly and replace the glove if it no longer keeps water out.

Information needed for a quotation

Send the full glove code, the size range, the quantity in pairs, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC and the hazards the glove must cover, so that the complete supply can be quoted together.

Documents and supply information

The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification and the site risk assessment before a purchase is confirmed. Standards, performance levels and sizes are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and construction projects.

Related items and documents

Unlined all-round work is covered by the Tegera 9102, vibration-heavy tool work by the Tegera 9180A, and impact and cut risk in the cold by the Tegera 7776. More items are listed in Safety & PPE. The Ejendals product sheet is attached. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, will quote on request; confirm the sizes you need first.

About brand

Tegera is the safety glove brand of Ejendals AB, a Swedish maker based in Leksand. Each Tegera glove is sold under a short model number, and the product sheet for that number prints the EN 388, EN 407, EN 511 or EN ISO 374-1 results behind the markings.

Seven Star LLC lists Tegera gloves for welding, chemical handling, cut risk, cold weather and power-tool work, and supplies them to contractors and plant owners in Oman against the exact model number and size.

Tegera glove models on this page

The range here covers the Welding 7788 goatskin glove, the Chemforce 7350 winter-lined nitrile and Chemforce 8160 latex gloves, the Oil Grip 8855 and ultra-thin 8846 cut resistant gloves, the 8821 high-visibility knit, the Pro 9102, Pro 9126 and anti-vibration Pro 9180A, and the Dynamic Strength 7776 impact and cut glove.

Where Tegera gloves are used

Welding and fabrication yards, chemical and petrochemical handling, mechanical maintenance with oily parts, cold stores and grinding or chipping work are the usual places. The Ejendals data sheets name oil and gas extraction, metal fabrication, mining and building among their industries.

Ordering Tegera gloves: what we need

Send the model number, the size and the number of pairs. Ejendals article numbers add the size, for example 7788-9 for a large. For chemical gloves also give the substances, because the permeation results are printed for only a few test chemicals.
