Streamlight E-Flood LiteBox Rechargeable LED Floodlight Lantern
Description
A 1,500-lumen rechargeable floodlight lantern for site and emergency use
The Streamlight E-Flood LiteBox is a portable floodlight with a wide, diffused beam. Four high-power LEDs behind shallow reflectors deliver 1,500 lumens and 4,700 candela on high with a 137 m beam distance and 8.5 hours of run time, and 350 lumens on low for 20 hours. The beam suits lighting work areas, vehicle breakdowns, valve platforms and emergency scenes rather than long-distance searching.
The head articulates to aim the light, and the lantern can stand upright or be carried by hand or on the supplied heavy-duty shoulder strap. A large tactile push button with a battery status indicator makes operation easy with gloves. This is a general-purpose lantern: the fact sheet lists no hazardous-area approval.

System versions and charging
Streamlight offers several package types: the standard E-Flood LiteBox system with shoulder strap, AC and DC charge cords and charge rack; the vehicle-mount system with a hard-wired rack; FireBox versions that add two programmable blue taillight LEDs; and a power-failure LiteBox that switches itself on automatically when mains power is lost.
A red or green LED in the push button shows battery state: flashing red means charging is needed, and green on charge means fully charged. The rack can be mounted in any position and the fact sheet lists locking racks and 100, 120, 230 and 240 V AC and 12 V DC charge cords as options.
Flood or spot
The E-Flood has a wide, even beam; its sister the E-Spot LiteBox, is a spot-beam lantern for reach. For lighting a working area such as a pump bay, muster point, wellhead or generator room, the flood pattern is the more useful. For hazardous areas select one of the ATEX lanterns in this range instead.
A power-failure version is useful in plant rooms and control areas where the lantern should light itself when supply fails.
Spares and accessories on the information sheet include a direct-wire 12V DC mounting rack in yellow (45074), a lithium-ion battery (45938), a quick-release strap (44050) and a heavy-duty shoulder strap (45232). Holding the push button cycles the modes, and the integrated indicator shows charge state during use.
Documents and quotation
The downloadable files are the Streamlight fact sheet and the information sheet with item numbers, and the operating instructions. Confirm the voltage (120V or 230V), colour and package type, including whether the power-failure circuit or vehicle mount is needed. Say whether the power-failure circuit, a yellow body or a vehicle rack is needed, with the quantity. Other products in Electrical & Power are listed on this site.

Streamlight is an American manufacturer of professional flashlights, headlamps, lanterns and scene lights. The business was set up in 1973 near Philadelphia by investor Harry French around a high-intensity light that grew out of a solar simulator built for NASA. Streamlight moved to its present 240,000 square foot headquarters and plant in Eagleville, Pennsylvania, in 2001.
Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list Streamlight hazardous-area and industrial lights for oil and gas, petrochemical and plant maintenance teams in Oman and the GCC.

Where Streamlight lights are used
Inspection and maintenance in refineries, gas plants, tank farms and offshore facilities, confined space entry, emergency response and general plant work. Marking, zone, gas group and temperature class differ by model and by the battery fitted, so the certificate and product label must match the area classification.
