Danfoss 132B0100 VLT Control Panel LCP 11 for FC 51
Description
The numeric local control panel for commissioning and operating VLT Micro Drive FC 51
The 132B0100 is the Danfoss VLT Control Panel LCP 11 without potentiometer, a numeric local control panel for the VLT Micro Drive FC 51. Danfoss describes it as a numerical LCP with a Quick Menu for commissioning and local control, with status readout, Hand/Auto selection, Reset and navigation keys, and copy and parameter-store functionality. It has the enclosure rating IP20 and front IP54. FC 51 drives are often delivered without a panel (the X in the type code means no local control panel), so the LCP is the item that lets an engineer read parameters, start the motor locally and clone settings from one drive to the next.

Using the panel and choosing the right one
The design guide explains that after pressing Hand On the drive follows the local reference set with the potentiometer on an LCP 12 or with the up and down keys on an LCP 11, and that the potentiometer can be disabled with parameter 6-80. In auto mode on an LCP 12 the potentiometer acts as an extra analog input. The numeric LCP is also the tool the operating guide names for running Automatic Motor Tuning. The design guide adds that the IP21 enclosure level of the FC 51 is only reached with an LCP 11 or LCP 12 mounted, so keep one in place when an IP21 kit is fitted.
Message 84 in the operating guide indicates a lost connection between drive and LCP, and warnings 86 to 88 relate to copy failures or incompatible LCP data. Read the copy options before cloning a parameter set. We have not found a suitable official product photo of this panel at the required resolution, so this listing has no picture yet.
Selection checks before ordering the 132B0100
Start by confirming the drive. List the FC 51 units that will use the panel and read their type codes to see which were delivered without an LCP. Then decide how operators will set speed locally. If they will mainly start, stop and reset the drive and occasionally change speed by stepping with the up and down keys, the LCP 11 fits; if a turnable local reference is preferred, the LCP 12 listed above is the relevant item. Consider too whether the panel will stay on the drive inside a cabinet or be fitted on a door with the remote mounting kit described in the table.
For sites with many identical machines, one panel can serve as a commissioning and copy tool, but it is usually better to leave a panel on drives that operators need to read during normal running. Where an IP21 kit is fitted to the FC 51, remember that the panel must remain in place to reach that enclosure level.
Commissioning with the LCP 11
With the drive isolated, fit the panel to the drive and power up. Use the Quick Menu to enter the motor nameplate data, set ramp times and reference limits, and run Automatic Motor Tuning if the operating guide recommends it for the motor. Test Hand On and Auto On with the machine in a safe state, and check that Off/Reset stops the drive as expected in both modes.
Once one drive is set up and tested, store the parameter set in the panel using the copy function, then load it into identical drives, checking the copy option against the guidance on warnings 86 to 88. Write the set-up number and key parameter values in the machine file so the configuration can be recreated without the panel.
Heat, dust and humidity at Omani sites
A display panel is often the first thing operators touch on a dusty site. In Oman, fine sand carried by wind and on gloves builds up around keys and the display edge, so wipe the front regularly with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid compressed air that can force grit into gaps. Do not use solvents that may cloud the display window.
Panels on drives in hot cabinets or outdoor enclosures can become hot to the touch and harder to read in strong sunlight. Where operators read the display often, shade the cabinet or move the panel to a door position with the remote kit so it can be read without opening the enclosure. In humid coastal areas, keep the cabinet sealed and ventilated so condensation does not form behind the panel.
Looking after spare panels
A panel used as a copy tool travels between machines, so store it in a clean, dry bag or box rather than loose in a toolbox. Label it with the parameter set it currently holds and the date it was stored, so the next technician does not load the wrong configuration into a drive by mistake.

About brand
From its headquarters in Nordborg, Denmark, where it was founded in 1933, Danfoss makes the drives, valves and sensors found in pump rooms, chiller plants and cold stores. Its blue VLT frequency converters are probably the most familiar of them.
Seven Star LLC lists Danfoss VLT drives, pressure transmitters, refrigeration valves and HVAC control valves, and supplies them to contractors and plant owners in Oman against the exact code number on the label.
Danfoss product families on this page
Among the VLT drives listed, three are each aimed at a different duty: the VLT HVAC Drive FC 102 for fans and building services, the VLT AQUA Drive FC 202 for water and wastewater pumping, and the VLT AutomationDrive FC 302 for general industrial machinery. The LCP 12 control panel with potentiometer (code number 132B0101) is also listed; Danfoss specifies it for the VLT Micro Drive FC 51. In pressure measurement there are the MBS 3000 general purpose transmitter and the MBS 5100. Valves include the AB-QM pressure independent control valve in DN 15 to DN 250, the EVR 25 servo-operated solenoid valve and the ICV pilot-operated valve for industrial refrigeration.
Where Danfoss equipment is used
District cooling and chilled water plants, air handling units, booster and irrigation pump stations, desalination and wastewater works, ammonia and CO2 refrigeration plants, food storage and marine engine rooms are the usual places. Demand in the GCC is driven largely by cooling and water.
Ordering Danfoss parts: what we need
Every Danfoss product has a code number, and drives also carry a long type code string on the label. Send both. For a drive we need the motor power and current, the mains voltage, enclosure rating, any fieldbus or option card and the filter class. For an MBS transmitter give the pressure span, output signal, pressure connection and electrical connection. For valves give the size, connection type, coil voltage where relevant and the refrigerant or medium.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is the Danfoss VLT Control Panel LCP 11 without potentiometer for VLT Micro Drive FC 51.
LCP 12 (132B0101) adds a potentiometer; LCP 11 uses the up and down keys for the local reference.
Danfoss describes IP20 with a front rating of IP54.
Yes. Parameter 0-50 LCP Copy offers all to LCP, all from LCP and size-independent from LCP.
Not for remote operation; the type code can specify no local panel. A panel is needed for local commissioning without a PC tool.
