Heat & BTU Energy Meters

BTU and heat energy meters calculate thermal energy from flow and the supply and return temperatures, for chilled water billing, district cooling and HVAC energy management. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat and the authorized pFlow distributor, also supplies Kamstrup, Micronics and Dynasonics energy meters to customers in Oman and the GCC.

Types of BTU meter in this category

pFlow ultrasonic BTU meters such as the E3, E3E, E3RO, E3W, E5, E5E, E8 and D116-BTU, the clamp-on E3CL and the LoRaWAN E3R cover chilled water and heating loops. Kamstrup MULTICAL 303 and 403 compact heat and cooling meters, MULTICAL 603 and 803 energy calculators and ULTRAFLOW 54 flow sensors serve district energy networks. Portable and fixed meters from Micronics and Dynasonics support energy surveys and permanent installations.

How to select a BTU meter

Define pipe size, flow range, supply and return temperatures and whether the application is heating, cooling or both. Choose inline, insertion or clamp-on flow measurement, the temperature sensor pair and the communication (M-Bus, Modbus, BACnet, LoRaWAN, pulse). For billing check the approval required (MID or local).
