Send the full model code from the sensor label, since it fixes the temperature range, the output type and the cable length. For a new measuring point, give the target material and surface, the temperature span, the distance and target size, and the ambient temperature at the sensor. 01How do I identify my Raytek Compact CI model?
The label on the sensor body or cable carries the Raytek model code and a serial number. The code distinguishes temperature range, output type and cable length, so quoting only "Compact CI" is not enough for a like-for-like replacement. Send the whole code and serial number, or a sharp photo of the label, and say what the sensor is wired to.
02Which Raytek series are still in the manufacturer's range?
The manufacturer's site currently shows the Raytek Compact CI and CM, the Compact MI3, the Marathon MM and the handheld Raynger 3i Plus, next to the Thermalert 4.0 and Endurance series. If your installed sensor belongs to an older Raytek series, we check the manufacturer's documentation for the named successor and compare range and output before proposing it.
