Brand: Lumel
Lumel RE82 131100M0 PID Temperature Controller, 48 x 96 mm
Description
The Lumel RE82 131100M0 is a 48 x 96 mm panel temperature controller with a universal input for Pt100 and Pt1000 sensors, ten thermocouple types and 0/4 to 20 mA or 0 to 5/10 V signals. It runs on/off, PID, step-by-step valve control or heating-cooling PID control with a SMART PID algorithm and auto-tuning. This code has three relay outputs, one 0/4 to 20 mA analog output, a 24 V d.c. transmitter supply, two binary inputs and RS-485.
Control features for furnaces, ovens and heaters
The manual names plastics, food and dehydration industries, and any process where temperature must be stabilised. The set point can be a fixed value, a programmed profile or a value read from an additional input, and a soft-start function limits the heat-up rate. A timer function, eight alarm types with an alarm latch and up to four PID parameter sets with gain scheduling help on processes whose behaviour changes with temperature. The controller can measure heater current through a transformer input and flag an overheating or shorted control element such as a solid-state relay, so a failed SSR is seen before the load runs away.
Two 21-point red and green bargraphs on the front show the process value against the set point, which is useful for operators at a glance.
Key features from the data sheet
- Universal measuring input with binary input control.
- On/off, PID, PID step-by-step (valve) and PID heating-cooling control.
- Relay, OC or analog outputs depending on code, with alarm outputs of eight types and an alarm latch.
- Soft start, timer and password protection.
- Heater current measurement with a heater-fault check.
- RS-485 MODBUS RTU.

Choosing the RE82 code
The data sheet prints three codes with the same universal input, 85 to 253 V a.c./d.c. supply, two binary inputs, 24 V transmitter supply and RS-485. RE82 431100M0 has two relays, one 10 V analog output and one 0/4 to 20 mA output. RE82 131100M0 (this page) has three relays and one 0/4 to 20 mA output. RE82 111100M0 has four relay outputs. All carry Polish and English documentation and a test certificate, and changing the last digit to 2 adds a paid calibration certificate. Pick the analog output for a valve or SCR driver, and the relay version for contactor or SSR on-off control.
Installation and commissioning notes from the manual
Fix the controller with the four supplied screw clamps in a panel up to 15 mm thick with a 45 x 92 mm opening. The set also contains two 16-pole screw plugs for wires up to 2.5 mm2, and a seal. Select Pt100, thermocouple, current or voltage input with the terminal jumpers and the menu, then run the auto-tuning routine, which the manual describes together with Gain Scheduling for four PID sets. Verify the relay load against the 2 A / 230 V rating and use an SSR on the 0/5 V output for heavier heaters.
Where it is used
Typical GCC applications are plastics and packaging lines, food ovens and dryers, laboratory furnaces and process heaters, where a single 48 x 96 mm instrument replaces separate controller and indicator. Panel ambient is rated to 50 degrees C, so hot enclosures need checking.
Selection and installation notes
A temperature controller is selected from the input sensor, the control mode and the outputs it must drive. Match the sensor type and range, choose the output that suits the heater or valve (relay, analog or logic), run the auto-tuning with the process at normal load, set the alarm limits and keep a record of the final parameters. Use a separate protection device where overheating would be dangerous.
Information needed for a quotation
Send the full model code, the quantity, the delivery location in Oman or the GCC, the intended use and any accessories needed, so that the complete package can be quoted together.
Documents and supply information
The manufacturer data sheet is attached to this page and should be read together with the project specification and the site risk assessment before a purchase is confirmed. Ratings, standards and dimensions are quoted as printed on that sheet. Lead time, stock position and certificates available with the shipment are confirmed in the quotation, and we supply to Oman and the wider GCC region for industrial, utility and building services projects.
