Installation and charging notes from the manual

Rooms need ventilation that keeps hydrogen under 4 percent by volume, a load-bearing electrolyte-resistant floor and warning signs to IEC 62485-2. Insulation resistance of a new battery must exceed 1 megohm and must not fall below 100 ohm per volt of nominal voltage.

Float at 2.23 V per cell. Equalizing charge is only needed after deep discharge, long uneven warming or large cell-voltage scatter, at a constant 2.4 V per cell for up to 72 hours at no more than 20 A per 100 Ah, stopping if the temperature passes 55 °C. Check water levels at the regular service visits.
