Allweiler ALLIFT Submersible Elevator Screw Pump Series

Description

Quiet submersible screw pump for hydraulic elevators

The Allweiler ALLIFT is a submersible elevator screw pump series for hydraulic lifts, lifting platforms, stages and other hydraulic machines. It is a three-rotor screw pump, a positive displacement rotary pump with an axial flow design, and the brochure describes high performance at a very low noise level for mineral oil-based hydraulic oils or synthetic hydraulic fluids and similar liquids.

There are only three moving parts, and the main screw is the only driven part that extends outside the case. The idler screws are turned hydraulically by the fluid being pumped, so there is only a rolling action between drive and idler screws, which removes noise and vibration. The double lead screw gives continuous non-pulsating flow and the rotors are balanced axially and radially.

Sizing for a lift

The brochure includes a plunger speed table for ram displacement at 350 PSI, 3400 RPM and 150 SSU, which turns pump delivery into lift speed for plunger diameters from about 3 7/8 inch to 10 inch. Larger plungers give lower speeds for the same pump delivery, so the table is the quickest way to match a model to a required car speed.

Pick the model from the required flow and the working pressure of the lift, then check the motor power in the rating table; the table lists pressures from 200 to 1000 PSI. The light weight and common mounting dimensions ease handling and replacement.

Things to confirm

Specify the hydraulic oil grade and viscosity, rated pressure, required lift speed and the submersible motor you plan to couple. The brochure covers lift duty only; for industrial lubricating-oil duty see other Allweiler screw pumps such as the Allweiler TRILUB TRL V16-40R41 screw pump. Other pumps are listed in the pump category.

About brand

Allweiler is a German pump manufacturer and describes itself as Germany's oldest pump maker. Gotthard Allweiler invented a fire-fighting wing pump in 1860, and manufacturing moved to Radolfzell on Lake Constance in 1876, where Allweiler is still based. It joined the Colfax pump group in 1998, became part of CIRCOR in 2017, and CIRCOR has been owned by KKR since 2023.

Seven Star LLC lists the Allweiler TRILUB TRL screw pump and supplies Allweiler pumps and spare parts to power plants, marine operators and process plants in Oman as an independent supplier.

Allweiler TRILUB screw pumps

TRILUB is Allweiler's name for a family of three-screw pumps built for lubricating and hydraulic oil service. One driven screw meshes with two idler screws inside a liner and moves the oil axially with little pulsation, which suits lube oil circuits of turbines, compressors, gearboxes and diesel engines. The listed TRL V16-40R41 is a complete pump from this family. Buyers who search for Allweiler oil pumps are usually looking for this kind of unit, in the GCC as elsewhere.
