Overview

Installation of the AW20 follows the SMC manual: the unit is mounted vertically with the bowl downward, the air supply enters through the IN port and the regulated output leaves through the OUT port, with the optional pressure gauge fitted at the 1/8 gauge port. The knob sets the outlet pressure while the gauge shows the actual value, and the drain cock at the bottom of the bowl releases condensed water on the daily routine. The unit should be installed after a shut-off valve so the air can be isolated for element service.
