Grandstream GXV3370 Android IP Video Phone 7-inch
Description
The Grandstream GXV3370 is an Android 7.0 IP video phone for the desk: a 7 inch 1024×600 capacitive touch screen, a tiltable 720p 30 fps camera with privacy shutter, 16 lines with up to 16 SIP accounts, built-in dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, dual Gigabit ports with PoE/PoE+, and a 4-core 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A53 with 2 GB RAM and 8 GB eMMC flash.
It combines a conventional handset phone with video calling, apps and a browser on one desktop device.
A desktop video phone with an app platform
Because the GXV3370 runs Android, it behaves like a small tablet fixed to a phone base. Local apps include Contacts, Call History, File Manager, MPK, Settings, Browser, Voicemail, Clock and Recorder, and third-party Android apps such as Microsoft Teams are listed as supported, with API and SDK for custom apps and deployment under provisioning control. It also pairs with Grandstream SIP door systems and cameras for video intercom, and has an HDMI-out (1.4, up to 720p 30 fps) for showing video on a monitor.

Selection guidance
Choose the GXV3370 when video calling and apps matter more than a large bank of BLF keys. For high-volume reception use the GXP2170. For meeting rooms use the GAC2570. Note the Wi-Fi is 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band, so it does not support Wi-Fi 5 or 6, and the USB port works only when the adapter or PoE+ is used, as the datasheet footnote states.
Installation and use
Place on a desk with the built-in adjustable stand, or fix to a wall with the supplied bracket. Power from PoE+ where USB peripherals are needed, otherwise PoE (802.3af) suffices. Pair a Bluetooth headset, register SIP accounts and, for video door entry, add the door system as a contact. Update firmware through TFTP, HTTP, HTTPS or GDMS and install only vetted third-party apps.
GCC applications
Executive offices, hospitality concierge desks, video-intercom links to gate stations and remote-site supervisors who need face-to-face calls over limited bandwidth. A 2 Mbps maximum video bit rate keeps bandwidth modest for sites on VSAT or microwave backhaul.
Selection and installation notes
A phone or voice device is selected from the number of lines and accounts, the display and keys needed, the network (PoE or power adapter, Gigabit or Wi-Fi) and the platform it connects to. Check that the PBX or the cloud service supports SIP and the codecs required, plan the VLAN and the PoE budget on the switch, and use provisioning to configure many devices consistently. Keep the firmware current and record the account settings for each unit.
