About Vacuum Pumps

Types of vacuum pump in this category
Single-stage oil-sealed rotary vane pumps such as the Leybold SOGEVAC SV 16, SV 25, SV 40, SV 100 and SV 220 serve rough vacuum duties including packaging and drying, with ATEX versions for hazardous zones. Two-stage rotary vane pumps like the TRIVAC D 16 B-Ex, TRIVAC D 40 B and NEO D 25 reach lower pressures for laboratories and coating. Oil-sealed screw pumps such as the VACUBE VQ 400 i and VQ 700 i, and Kaeser rotary screw vacuum packages, deliver high pumping speeds for central vacuum systems.
How to select a vacuum pump
Define the pumping speed in m3/h, the ultimate pressure needed, the gas or vapour being pumped and whether condensable vapours, dust or aggressive media are present. Choose single-stage pumps for rough vacuum and two-stage pumps for finer vacuum, and specify ATEX category for flammable gases. Add exhaust filters, inlet filters and gas ballast as needed.
