The ampoules use Rhodazine D chemistry, which turns from colorless to pink in proportion to the oxygen present. Because the vacuum-sealed ampoule fills directly in a flowing sample stream, air contact is minimized and trace readings stay reliable in the 0-40 ppb range.
What is the difference between CHEMets and Vacu-vials?
CHEMets are read visually against a color comparator, while Vacu-vials are designed to be read in a photometer or spectrophotometer. Both use the same self-filling, pre-measured ampoule concept, so no pipetting or reagent preparation is required.
Are CHEMetrics kits suitable for boiler feedwater and condensate testing?
