Matching the reactor to the drive

The type number follows the current: the LRZ 04-033 is for a 32 A drive input, roughly a 15 kW motor, according to the datasheet table. For drives above that the range continues with LRZ 04-050 and the LRBZ reactors with copper strip coils. Select by the drive input current and a margin: the reactor tolerates 1.7 In continuously and 2 In for one minute, with linearity up to 1.5 In. Installation notes

The reactor is an open construction (IP 00) of 150 x 152 x 90 mm and 4.3 kg, so mount it inside a drive cabinet or enclosure with adequate ventilation, and connect it with suitable terminals. Heat dissipation of 45 W should be included in the cabinet thermal calculation, and the Class F rating (+155 C) is the insulation limit, not the ambient limit.
