Operating Principle of the Biffi ALGAS

The Biffi ALGAS uses the same scotch-yoke conversion mechanism as the double-acting ALGA – pistons drive rollers along a slotted yoke keyed to the output shaft – but one side of the piston assembly is permanently loaded against a spring pack rather than against supply air.
