Brand: Victaulic
Victaulic Style 07 Zero-Flex Rigid Coupling
Description
Rigid grooved coupling for fixed pipe runs
The Victaulic Style 07 Zero-Flex is a rigid grooved coupling that joins roll-grooved or cut-grooved carbon steel pipe, fittings and valves. Unlike a flexible coupling, it is designed to restrict axial and angular movement, so it behaves as a fixed joint and is used where the pipe must be held in line: risers, pump and equipment headers, mechanical rooms and fire protection mains. The two-bolt ductile iron housing locks onto the pipe grooves and clamps a pressure-responsive gasket, with no welding or flanging.
The coupling covers 1 to 12 in. (DN25 to DN300) and pressures from full vacuum up to 750 psi (52 bar), depending on size, pipe material and wall thickness. For 14 to 24 in. the datasheet refers to the Style W07 AGS rigid coupling.

Selection and documents
Choose the coupling type by joint behavior: use a rigid Style 07 where a fixed joint is needed, and a flexible joint such as the Victaulic Style 107N where movement must be absorbed. Confirm the gasket grade for the service and the pressure for the pipe wall in use. More fittings are listed under Pipes and Fittings. The attached Victaulic publication 06.02 holds the full dimension and performance tables. Send the pipe size, gasket grade, coating and quantity for a quotation.

About brand
Grooved pipe joining started with Victaulic in 1919, and the company, based in Easton, USA, still sets the reference for couplings that join pipe without welding or flanges. Seven Star LLC lists Victaulic couplings and butterfly valves, among them the Style 107N QuickVic rigid coupling, and supplies Victaulic couplings and fittings for mechanical, utility and process piping in Oman on inquiry.
Victaulic Style 107N QuickVic couplings
The Style 107N is a rigid coupling for roll-grooved or cut-grooved carbon steel and stainless steel pipe in sizes from 2 to 12 inches (DN 50 to DN 300). Victaulic rates it from full vacuum up to 750 psi (5171 kPa), but the working pressure of a given joint depends on pipe material, wall thickness and size. The housing has an angled bolt pad that makes the joint rigid, and a galvanized finish is optional.
Where Victaulic couplings are used and what to send
The manufacturer names HVAC, utility and process piping as the applications for this style. For an inquiry, send the style number, nominal size, pipe material and schedule, the fluid and temperature so the gasket grade can be checked, the housing finish and the quantity. GCC consultants often ask for the submittal sheet, which we provide from the manufacturer.
