The LRGA-3100 is a laser Raman spectroscopy gas analyzer.
Raman spectroscopy measures several gas components at once, including diatomic gases such as hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen that infrared analyzers cannot see. This makes it useful for natural gas, syngas, hydrogen and other mixed gas streams where composition changes quickly. The sample conditioning system, gas components and ranges must be defined for each application.

Which gases can the Cubic LRGA-3100 measure?
The manufacturer lists hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane and light hydrocarbons such as ethane and propane, and the analyzer also reports calorific value. The set for your unit is still defined per order. Send the full stream composition with the range needed for each component, and we check it against the datasheet.
How is a laser Raman analyzer different from an infrared gas analyzer?
An infrared analyzer measures light absorbed by the gas, which works for molecules such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and methane but not for hydrogen, nitrogen or oxygen. Raman scattering responds to all of these, so one instrument can report a full mixture. The choice still depends on the ranges, response time and sample conditions of your application.
What should I send to get a quotation for a Cubic gas analyzer?
